When I was face to face with him, my honest first impression was that I expected something more. I had heard so much about his presence in the media that I was surprised to find that he seemed very average, Mr. Wurzelbacher wrote in a live online chat on The Washington Times Web site. My gut feeling as he answered my questions? I was scared for America, he wrote in response to a reader who asked When you were face to face with Obama, what were you thinking and how did it feel?

I understand how he feels. I don’t know if what I feel is fear for America so much as a growing revulsion for half her population.
Joe the Plumber = 2008 version of Tiananmen Square “Tank Man?”
Joe The Plumber - an angel from God
I’m scared for the nation due to Obama and I never met him face-to-face. Actually “scared” isn’t strong enough...panicked is a better word.
Joe ain’t the only one, there are millions of Americans that feel the same, and they WILL vote.

That’s so funny to me. Especially after watching idiots like Oprah blubber about how seeing Obama speak is a life changing event. lol
When you stand for nothing you’ll fall for anything.
OMG
Has anyone read those comments after the article
the liberals are truly disturbed mentally.
It is scary knwing that some folks out there are completely clueless and have no idea
There is one person who states he looked up his tax records and how much he and his company made
then another couple use the liberal talking points of he has no license and his name is not Joe
can you believe these idiots, so what if he goes by Joe his middle name and he is still a plumber as he does not need a license
I know liberals don’t like facts but these fools are really off their trolley

I could not have come face to face with the puke. I would not put my nose through smelling his stink.
Joe’s got a lot of company in that feeling.

Ummm. Does Joe or McCain actually think this stuff helps sway independent voters? Not smart
BTMN is just plain scary, sounds like Alan Colmes.
a complete utter weirdo who just cannot se the real world or face facts
“Joe The Plumber - an angel from God”
I was thinking - a saint, but then I remembered most of the more venerated saints were martyred.
Really? Wow! - and he's on our side...
We're doomed...

The quiet patriots will come out in force to prevent Obama from achieving his socialistic goals. This I believe..
I think somewhere around the Lewinsky saga in 1998, when their overlord der schlick was impeached, I think the left just lost all connection with reality.
The Clinton Legacy is the doctrine of when someone speaks against your cause, don’t address the issue, destroy the accuser.
The left has glomed on to that doctrine, and combined it with queludes and alcohol and just come undone.
There is a distinct proletarianism in this country though. Because many American families are broken down, kids aren’t being raised right and/or taught how to succeed. I see many adults who work full time that are going to work 20K-25K per year jobs for the rest of their life with no prospect for advancement. The desire for achievement isn’t instilled in many folks. But the rock of government is being instilled, and as a result liberalism has bred its first generation of permanent underclass. Government has already endorsed the elimination of one parent from the household. How long will it be before they encourage the elimination of the other parent, and with it the entire household?
