A Pittsburgh police commander says a volunteer for the McCain campaign who reported being robbed and attacked near a bank ATM in Bloomfield has confessed to making up the story. Police say charges will be filed. More details to follow.
Well, when I posted that only an idiot would stage something in front of ATM cameras, I guess she proved that she fit the description. I would love to know the background behind how she came to think up this scheme.

If someone uses a knife it would be a horrible open wound that would require stitches, even a scalpel would have done more than that.

Well that didn’t help matters did it.
It wouldn’t surprise if this had no effect at all. MSM may not want to run this story because it does raise the specter of black on white violence, even though it turned out to be a hoax. They think most Americans are pretty stupid, and if they run the story, a lot of us will get the facts mixed up, or not hear all of the facts, so that we end up thinking that a black man attacked a white woman. That’s just my guess; we’ll see what happens.

There really isn’t much an emergency room could do for a superficial scratch like that, other than dab on Povidone (which I would do for myself) and ask if Tetanus booster was up to date.
I wonder if all the folks who were accusing us doubters of being heartless will appologize?
