Massive Democratic Advantage in Early Voting in Nevada
foxnews ^ | Friday, October 24, 08 | Major Garrett

Posted on 10/24/2008 6:04:25 AM PDT by VU4G10

After six days of early voting in Nevada (5 electoral votes), Democratic turnout exceeds Republican turnout 57 percent to 27 percent. When the early walk-in vote is combined with mail-in absentee vote, the Democratic advantage is 54 percent to 30 percent. The Democratic vote margin in early and absentee voting (after six days) is 39,000 votes. On Wednesday, the early vote breakdown was 12,475 Democratic ballots to 6,961 GOP ballots. In the state's most populous and Democratic county - Clark County - 20 percent of active (otherwise known as likely) voters and 16 percent of registered voters have cast ballots. This activity strongly suggests an Obama victory in Nevada as his campaign has feverishly stoked early voting throughout the state and has had union muscle in Las Vegas encouraging in tandem. John McCain's campaign is already looking at the prospect of loses in Colorado and New Mexico. Combined, these three states account for 19 electoral votes - all of which Bush carried in '04. FOX News' Major Garrett contributed to this report.

Not to worry, of COURSE there are more democrats voting on a day other than election day,

it’s just their nature.

Also, remember the psy-ops aspect of this - all reports are intended to MAKE YOU WANT TO STAY HOME.

I can’t tell the difference these days between Major’s reporting and Andrea Mitchell’s, it sounds almost identical, right out of the Bambi campaign’s talking points.

Yep, Kerry was way ahead in early voting. Heck he was way ahead at 4:00 on election day, if you asked the media.

If it is like here, it is because there are no venues in conservative areas.

How funny, at the end of the day, it still is only 18 thousand votes, there will be a million at least cast by Nov 4th.

This is a good example of trying to dishearten Republicans.

Clark County has had a big turnout? If I’m not mistaken that is the Las Vegas area and Kerry won big there last time. So I think this is no surprise. It was the rest of the state that put Bush over the top. Has the state changed that much in only 4 years? I would think McCain being from the west would help in NV.

I hate early voting! I'll never vote early. I make my itinerary around concrete commitments and I'm committed to being home so I can vote on election day.

Early voting, same day voting and motor voting all increase the liklihood for fraud exponentially! I can't believe that more Americans aren't outraged by the way the left is corrupting our election process.

Umm...

So the bottom line on numbers is:
if McCain wins the Election Day tally by 1%-ish, he wins the state, all votes included.

Interesting that Major Garrett is actually ALREADY calling the state for Obama. Seems the Obamabots are getting a little too visibly desperate and overconfident.
