An exclusive interview: 'If people only knew how frugal we are'
Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin insisted in an interview with the Tribune on Thursday that she did not accept $150,000 worth of designer clothes from the Republican Party and "that is not who we are."
"That whole thing is just, bad!" she said. "Oh, if people only knew how frugal we are.
"It's kind of painful to be criticized for something when all the facts are not out there and are not reported," said Palin, saying the clothes are not worth $150,000 and were bought for the Republican National Convention. Still, she has been wearing pricey clothes at campaign events this fall. She said they will be given back, auctioned off or sent to charity. Most of them, she said, haven't even left the belly of her campaign plane.

Hannity pointed out that she is the only one of the four candidates who isn’t a millionaire.
Which is interesting, because Obama and Biden have never had real jobs.
Actually she spoke of much more important issues in this interview and then it warranted this cheesy title..... go figure... but she is getting better and better in interviews.
A drag on the ticket? Preposterous! It’s just the opposite! : )
For Sarah to accept free clothes from fashion designers as the DemocRATS do, would have been in violation campaign financing laws. That’s why the ‘RATS started snooping into this. They wanted to crucify her and found out that the clothes were paid for. All this huffing and puffing from the Commie ‘RATS is just their way of making lemonade out of the lemons they found.
Barefoot, Pregnant, and in the White House!
Cheers!
Okay, whose bright idea is it that Sarah should talk about the American tax payer paying more taxes for special Ed?
Bad move this week...bad move....just talk about helping, not helping with money, for crying out loud. WE have enough hands in our pockets...and I say that with kid who use Special Ed!
They are not gonna get votes with this, just alienate more of the base...it is a loser. Please someone listen!
She should keep them. She's going to need them this January when and after she's sworn in as Vice President! : )
Link to the full transcript of the interview. She comes across so well when she’s not edited by the MSM.

Wow! That is a clever one. Down syndrome people are so sweet. Glad to see a parent who is proud of their trisomy twenty one kid!
When the media criticize her, when they lie about her, and when they ridicule her way of life...
...they criticize, lie about, and ridicule..."us".

Side benefit — liberals have to go through life with their heads exploded.
Where did that $150,000 story originate? It’s totaly viral, but where did it begin? David Axelrod?
It began on politico.com.
Reading the entire interview, Gov. Palin says she thinks the money could be found elsewhere in the budget:
SP: “We have a $3 trillion federal budget and we’re looking at a miniscule amount of money in the grand scheme of things here. And it is a matter of prioritizing the dollars that are already there. Not necessarily asking for more funding, but re-prioritizing dollars that are existing in federal budgets today, and then allowing some of that to trickle down to our states and allow the states to prioritize also according to the needs in our individual states and how they feel best to, to provide services to special needs children.”

The one domestic thing I honestly don’t have a problem with funding through school vouchers or something is kids with special needs. 95% of babies with down syndrome are aborted. Families that take this challenge on are most likely not lazy welfare suckers.
No matter how much the liberal media tries to put her down, women across the country see it and want to copy the look because it gets attention.
