Apparently on one block in the liberal mecca of Park Slope, Brooklyn, the new Greenwich Village (they even have their own Halloween parade), there are four houses in a row with McCain/Palin flags outside them.
Not surprising. It was a post-war community that grew up around St. Thomas Aquinas Church and they all had big families , who have grown and moved away. There are still some left in the neighborhood, but it's mostly the yuppies that moved in in the late 80s, pushing apartment and housing prices through the roof and the others that came in afterward. (Meanwhile, Church attendance has dropped dramatically and the school closed about 3 years ago.)

These relatives are 80+ year old aunts sporting McSarah placards on their front lawns. I repeat sir, you are a gutless weasel. Please take the Marine reference out of your screen name.

New Hampshire is a whole other world politically, and yes, there are thousands of GOP signs and support there. The rest of New England is a liberal political cesspool, and I live in a mostly white neighborhood near a racially-charged area. If you lived here you would be doing the exact same thing, guaranteed. There is a 100% chance that my electoral votes will be awarded to The One, no matter what I do.

I have never claimed to be a Marine. I was, however, in the Coast Guard, and the Semper in my name comes from Semper Paratus, meaning Always Ready. (If you had taken the time to click my name, you would know that.) I changed it after 9/11 to include that date.
Please don't reply, because I am not going to get into it with you regarding my decisions. People do what they have to do.
