don't expect the army or the cops to do anything.....just like at Waco...make up enough lies you can convince anyone to kill their neighbor....

what I do expect is a large number of people defecting and going awol....

look recently how the pay and benefits for the military has gone up....its one of the better jobs going....we've made our services almost mercenary...guys know they can make big bucks going to the war zone and yes, its risky, but if they know they can buy that convertible when they get home, its worth it...

Ayers said he hadn’t done enough. Would 25 million dead enough?

I also suspect gun owners who talk a good game will give up their guns and go willingly.

That may be.

There's something on the order of 80 million gun owners in this country.

If 99% of them give up their guns and go willingly, that's still nearly a million that don't.

And that million will be a very tough nut to crack.

It could be done. You’d have to insure a half dozen or so things: it would have to be along county lines and not state lines generally, which would give us most of the land area and them most of the cities; we’d have to have Washington State and possibly part of oregon i.e. at least one or two major left-coast ports; they’d have to have corridors connecting their cities... We should probably think of demoKKKrats the same way we think of Canadians i.e. I can get along with Canadians perfectly well so long as I don’t have to VOTE against them. I want to live long enough to vote in just one election in which no demoKKKrats are running, just pubbies vs libertarians under fair rules.

Funny you say that about the convertible, my brother in law did just that when he got back from Iraq.

Only viable way for a coarse breakup would be a three-way division: left coast, central/south, and northeast (look at the statewise election maps). A county-wise division would leave a thin strip up the Pacific, and a Boston/NYC/Albany/DC pocket in the armpit of New England.

The Left won’t go for it. They want national/continental/world domination, not “leave me alone”ism. They also need the resources ... funny, that: methinks their sociopolitical philosophy is based on taking resources for granted, which is exactly what will destroy them if we take our ball and go home.

Ieah, but some of them would comply with turn-in orders. Some of them would applaud rhe confiscation of “assault weapons,” believing their guns would be safe. James Carville owms guns...but I think he’d more likely be a re-educarion “camp counsellor” than a “camper.”

Some of America’s prominent gun owners: Diane Feinsrein, John Kerry, Joe Biden...
