what I do expect is a large number of people defecting and going awol....
look recently how the pay and benefits for the military has gone up....its one of the better jobs going....we've made our services almost mercenary...guys know they can make big bucks going to the war zone and yes, its risky, but if they know they can buy that convertible when they get home, its worth it...
Funny you say that about the convertible, my brother in law did just that when he got back from Iraq.
