She needed to be a resident for 5 yrs. after her 14th birthday. IF he was born in Kenya, she could not have fulfilled that requirement and citizenship could not have passed.

I believe you are correct, because he was talking about it during the Dem. debates...saying he watched her argue and argue with insurance companies as she was dying and that motivated him to support his health care plan or blah blah blah, and I was screaming, "why weren't you arguing for your dying mother???, especially as he was an attorney at that time....I guess he was too busy organizing communities.
