The presidential race in Kentucky has changed little over the past month. The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in the state finds John McCain leading Barack Obama 52% to 44%.

Unlike in much of the county, support for McCain is the same in Kentucky as it was in September, but Obama’s support has bounced up two points over the past month. The last two polls in the state found McCain leading by 10 percentage points.

I never had any doubt about the presidential election, here in the Bluegrass state, but I fear Sen. McConnell may be in trouble.

what a crap poll. I don’t believe any of them. They all stick. /sarc. Actually it is probably 90% McCain and 10% Obama. We sure love the polls when they look good for us. lol.

These numbers are terrible, because McCain should be winning Kentucky by more than 20%.

If he only carries Kentucky by 8%, there’s no way McCain will will the national election.

Actually, I believe that the McCain Palin ticket is going to sweep the Election, and Obama will be left with California, Oregon, Illinois, and a few other delussional states.

This looks promising. I think those other polls like the Big Ten and Quinnipiac are just plaing wrong. I travelled through some of those states the other day and observed far more support for our team.

Their delusional?

Be honest with me, did you think the republicans were going to gain seats back in 2006?

I want McCain to win as much as the next person here, but completely denying reality isn't benefiting anyone.

That poll from Rasmussen is about as useful as a cowpie.

McCain-Palin probably have higher numbers than what Obama's pollsters like Rasmussen and Zogby are telling us.

but I fear Sen. McConnell may be in trouble.

The problem with pols is they never know when to retire until the voters retire them. It's a disservice to their party, but most linger for one election too many.
