FReepers!
I have done some ground work this morning and wanted to present some excellent news. I have looked through the internal report of today's battleground poll and found very encouraging figures! Dont even bother worrying about zogby; Lets keep our eyes on Battleground, IDP TIPP, and to a lesser extent Rasmussen.
So, the link is attached to the pdf. I encourage EVERYONE to read it and post in this thread the positive things you see...there is so much! I will start by posting what i see first:
weighting: R373 (36.97%) I212(21%) D424(42.02)
some goodies:
McCain leads in all of the following: White males 53 38 White Evangelicals 79 17 Hispanic males 48 44 Minority college men 50 39
Also be sure and look at Palin favorables...so not what the media is spinning.

I find this surprising, but of course it is a small demographic within the poll, so its MOE is higher. At any rate, I'm guessing this constituency makes up about 0.1% of the electorate.
Minority college men 50 39

Can’t be.
I have a business in the Bible Belt. It is true that most of the local people I talk to are voting for McCain - but I am located close to the interstate and get lots of travelers from all over. I play Rush on the radio at my business & it usually elicits comments. An overwhelming majority of those people I talk to are voting for McCain also.
LOL! That would be *so* awesome!
Can I borrow that and send it to a few people?
McCain leading with minority college men? I’ll believe that when monkeys fly out my arse.
Minority as in a virgin? Or minority as in black? The first I could believe.
1) Turnout
2) Turnout
3) Turnout
I didn’t think today’s Battleground poll had been released yet.
Survey of 1000 voters. There were probably 4 of them in the survey.
Borrow away!
Minority as in not a raging alcoholic maybe.
Where are you getting 18%? They have about 5 1/2% more dems.
Asians.
Minority college men 50 39
Asians.

Very possible. Thanks.
“Minority” sometimes included Asians, which can greatly swing the numbers. Perhaps this is the scenario...?
I believe that Obama is not getting the support among college students that everyone thinks. You think there is pressure on adults that trend the polls for Obama, imagine what it would be like on a college campus. I think we saw some of that when the Obama camp tried to get out the vote during that week in Ohio.
Sarah Palin’s name ID is better among minority college men at 62-30 than among any other racial/gender group they polled. LOL
