Just stated on Fox and Friends.
O'Reilly will be breaking a NEWS organization investigation tonight.
Mod...no article to follow until tonight.
There is not only control of the media, but now there's an attempt to manipulate the advertiser dollars and the success of some shows versus others.
(Excerpt) Read more at foxnews.com ...
TV market share ratings, drive the rates that TV shows can charge advertisers. Little or no ratings, networks can charge very little. Very high ratings, networks can charge an arm and a leg.
->If<- those rating are compromised and manipulated, Nielson ratings don’t mean squat and there could be lawsuits flying from advertisers who have been ripped off.
Just because Nielson employees and management donated 100% of the time to Obama, does not mean the ratings are compromised, but it will make advertisers a bit nervous
“He called Obama a communist yesterday AND got away with it, because he was joking.”
How can that be a joke?
Anyone that advocates taking from those according to their ability and giving to those according to their means IS A COMMUNIST!
M’uad Dib!
I'm still boycotting Fauxnews, since their fawning over Barama after the third debate. The "All Star" panel and Brit Hume were over the top for Barama. I've stayed true to my word and will watch only Fox & Friends, Megyn Kelly/Bill Hemmer and Cavuto.
BOYCOTT FAUX NEWS!
If Neilsen is misreporting Msnbc's numbers, and Msnbc is in the tank for Obama, then Neilsen is actively engaged in helping to fund Msnbc through false numbers given to advertisers.
They are lying about Msnbc's strength so that more money flows to them from the P&Gs, Millers, and Toyotas of the world.
Likewise, they are cutting down on the money that should rightly flow to those who are less in the tank for Obama.
BOR has been about 3/4 tollerable lately
Stout lad!
Fox & Friends, Megyn Kelly/Bill Hemmer and Cavuto.
#####
They are still on my list, too. The rest are history. The third debate commentary was the very last straw.
I’m getting my news, too from FOX Business - especially good when the economy IS the news!
I really enjoy Neal Cavuto, he does not tolerate fools lightly
I like Brit Hume BUT...
cannot stand to watch FOX News anymore-Shep Smith and Geraldo- fuggedaboutit
Alan Colmes triggers a gag reflex, everyone on Colmes and Hannity is shouting over top of everyone else
O Reilly talks over his guests
and besides- Dave Ramsey is on FOX Business the same time as OReilly
I didn’t see the fawning.
I think that they had bought into the spin that McCain had to knock it out of the park. He didn’t, so they were glum.
Krauthammer is always glum. He really should pen something entitled “The power of negative thinking.”
Don’t drink the kool-aid. McCain did not hit a grandslam and demolish Obama in that last debate. If it were a baseball game, It might have been McCain 4-3. The problem with Fox that night was that they’d bought the “must have a grand slam” spin.
bump
I wonder if Brit has seen his ratings drop after the third debate...I stopped watching a month ago as it was always doom and gloom and such nastiness toward Sarah.
He gets under my skin when he talks religious, gay, and other issues. He does seem to believe, however, in fair journalism.
I am e-mailing the advertisers. I tell em I do not need their products that much. Maybe they can sell them to Obamafare recipients.
“MSNBC, the most liberal, has the worst ratings.”
MSNBC has joined in with ACORN, La Raza, and the NAACP to help more Democrats vote. It is no longer a news network.
I am with you on the FoxNewz slanting too far Left but on occassion they will stumble across something that goes against their typical DC elitism. We Right minded citizens are still in need of a MSNBC/CBS/ABC type of Media Voice.
O’Reilly is a pompous windbag who finds a bit’o reality on the rare occasions. Personally I rarely watch Fox and never watch the other faux newz outlets.
I think Hume is very positive toward Palin.
It’s just that all the other so-called conservatives, with the exception of Barnes & Kristol, picked at her. Krauthammer was downright nasty about her.
Barnes is probably the least articulate commentator on any network....great insight but terrible communication skills. Kristol is excellent in both areas.
Krauthammer, on the other hand, is the single most depressing talking head on any network at any time in my entire memory spanning a number of decades.
