Must be something that Sarah did. John (is a decent man) sure as heck did not do anything.

That showing represents a six-point improvement for McCain since AP-GfK’s last poll, which had Obama ahead of McCain by seven points, 48 percent to 41 percent.

6 points in just one week? At this rate, it'll be a McCain landslide. Let's see....in the last week, we had Obama admitting he's a socialist (thanks, Joe!) and Biden admitting that Obama is a national security risk. All in all, a good week.

LOL. Talk about a begrudging article from the hacks at the Politico. Having spent the past few months on their knees servicing Obama, one can sense that they see it slipping fearing that they will never get invited to a White House party...

If you watched the panel on Brit Hume’s show tonight you would have wanted to slit your wrists. They COMPLETELY ignored any good news.

Politico sucks D**K. Within striking distance in Florida and Ohio, He is ahead for Christ sake!!

But hey, on Nov 5th, Zero won’t be able to pay his lackey’s to do the deed any more, but I am sure you Politico guys will find the inspiration from AC/DC to do the dirty deeds and do them dirt cheap!

Powell endorses Obama and Obama sheds points.

Now that is the best think Powell had done for Republicans in at least half a decade.

They appear to ALL be moving rapidly to get in line with a vastly different election outcome than the one they’ve been spinning.

There is a two pronged effort here with regard to Palin. She is absolutely denting obama’s margin with women. McCains people must see an opening, because both her NV speeches yesterday were attacking Obama on not paying his females as much and not picking hillary for VP.

At the same time, you have this break from the campaign to visit his sick grandma who’s all he has left. But it takes him 4 days to leave and he is doing interviews about it talking about how important she is. Then the next minute he’s dancing on Ellen.

Both campaigns know that women are moving to mccain. So the talking points have gone out. By the way, special report is down the crapper and Brit is retiring so whatever hope was left is now departed. All those people live in the Washington bubble and their opinions are totally the conclusion of their own consumption of media reports from DBM.

Last bit of business, Chuck Todd is an obvious co*k-smoker. /rant off

Typical liberal leaning pollsters. For the last six months they have the Messiah Lord Barack Hussein Obama leading by anywhere from 5 to 15 points. An obvious attempt to break the spirit of McCain supporters. Now at the last minute they do a complete about face showing McCain even with Barack Hussein in an attempt to get Obama supporters to the polls. Trust no poll trust yourself and encourage everyone you know to vote.

Interesting Tidbits:

The Weekly Reader poll has been around for 52 years. The kids' newspaper has conducted a poll of kids from kindergarten and up that has proven right in the last 12 out of 13 elections. Since 1956, when President Dwight D. Eisenhower ran for re-election against Adlai Stevenson, more than eight million students have voted in the Weekly Reader poll. Now, we know why they were pushing the Obama Kids Videos! Trying to influence Weekly Reader tykes? How low is that?

The WR poll results to be announced Oct. 29.

And ...The Tammie Coe Cakes bakery poll in Phoenix stated that the Obama cookies are outselling the McCain cookies 10 to 1. Their locations are: 4410 north 40th street, phoenix, az 85018 and 610 east roosevelt, #145, phoenix, az 85004. Hmm have online shopping, wonder if that counts.

Then there is the beer poll: Texas-based restaurant chain Flying Saucer started a Vote with Beer poll at each of its 13 locations. Participants vote for their candidate by earning a point for them every time they buy a 16-ounce pint glass of beer with an image of either Obama or McCain imprinted on it.

So far, Obama has 9,375 beer votes versus 7,801 for McCain. I wonder if that says anything about the character of McCain supporters.

OOps...New Count (2008-10-22 14:53:02) !!! still drinking: Today: www.beerknurd.com - Senator Barack Obama holds a commanding lead over Senator John McCain - 10,127 votes (55 percent) to 8,325 votes (45 percent) - in The Flying Saucer Draught Emporium's 2008 Presidential Election Poll. Hey... any volunteers to go Beer FReeping?

These are their 13 locations: - Dallas, Austin, Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio, Texas; Kansas City, Mo.; Little Rock, Ark.; Cordova, Memphis and Nashville, Tenn.; Charlotte and Raleigh, N.C.; and Columbia, S.C.
(Do take a designated driver!)

It’s not that the tide of the race is turning.

Hmm...of course not. A six-point turn in a week using the same methodology is just a little blip on the radar, right?

Somebody sounds a little nervous here. Heh heh.

CALL ME PARANOID, but the talking heads on CNBC today were attributing the market fall off to “black box” institutional investors selling off. Traders said there were two major entities in play.

Could it be someone has figured out that a low market works well for an Obama victory?

Ironically, nearly everyone agrees the market is discounting for an Obama win, since his high taxes could stretch the recession into decades.
