Well you know what your doing. The Hornaday Ballistic Tip is pretty good but I have had better groupings with the Nosler version. Everything else being equal (except price) at 200yds I go from a 3.5in. grp with the Hornaday down to a 1.75in group with the Nosler. (Colt Match HBAR AR15, Bench rest, 8-32X50 Scope, Outdoor Range.) Would like to try longer range also with .308 but 200yds is the longest measured range I have access to. I use a Dillon 650 Press and go all OCD with case prep. Neck turn, Flash debur, case length, Primer pocket, etc.

At the time I was thinking about what Thomas Jefferson wrote on armed rebellion:”God forbid we should ever be more than twenty years w/o such a rebellion.The people cannot be all,and always,well informed.The part which is wrong will be discontented,in proportion tothe importance of the facts they misconceive.If they remain quiet under such misconceptions,it is lethargy,the forerunner of death to the public liberty...And what country can preserve it’s liberties,

if it’s rulers are not warned from time to time,that this people preserve the spirit of resistance?Let them take arms.

The remedy is to set them right as to the facts,pardon and pacify them.What signify afew lives lost in a centry or two?

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time,with the blood of patriots and tyrants.It is it’s natural manure.

There is hope w/a revolution against the government and that’s the ONLY hope that will “change” these overbearing and suppressive politicians and get stagnated Americans to open eyes wide.Many will die...but it will be worth it to preserve Liberty and Democracy...I just hope I live long enough to see it!!...and it’s been way...way over 20 yrs,that’s too long.
