Can “Necklacing” be far behind???? Good God.....our country is lost. I don’t think it’ll be the GIRLS that are rioting if Sarah loses.

Do you think the rioting would be confined to urban areas, or could it spread to the suburbs or even low population areas?

Thank God they are taking the possibility of rioting middle aged women seriously.

Make sure you wear your comfortable shoes! I think I'll leave the strollers at home.

This election won’t be decided by the night of Nov. 4. There is potential for multiple states that will be too close to call. Depending on who is declared the winner, this could drag out for some time ala 2000. Especially if Obama loses. The Dems will pull every trick in the book to wrestle it away from McCain if its close enough.

So, help me out here with the logic of some of these statements. Because there is the potential for a black to lose, there is a concern about violence in predominantly black cities. And, because there is the potential for a women to lose, there is a concern about violence by men?

“..preparing for possible civil unrest and riots after the historic presidential contest.”

I’ll prefer these riots over 4 years of 0bama any day.

Riots if we win, riots if we lose, riots riots riots cuz its our right to choose!

I will be sipping Jack Daniels and smoking some good cigars at a beachfront motel, enjoying Mac’s victory and moonbat misery..:) How sweet it will be.

Wow. How does one go about starting a riot or joining one? As a middled aged lady, I really have no clue. We used to all go to Georgetown in WDC when the Redskins won the Superbowl and shut down Wisc and M. Does it work like that? Or are we expected to bring flammable substances and burn something down? (total sarc)

I think they need not worry about an Obama win, he will quell the masses by raising his hand and asking for restraint. But would he raise that hand if he loses?

It would be a lot less if the police shot to kill during these crazy uprisings whether it be for hocky, basketball or an election.

People would think twice about mayhem if death was in the picture.

Oh you poor thing. Come to Texas and sample a few. They have stacks of them at any gun show here.

Race relations in this country have taken quite a step backwards. It’s sad really.

Yes, it is. Race relations were more civil and mutually respectful in the '60s than they are now.

if “the chosen one” loses, it will be worse in the big cities in the northeast/west coast. some people were talking about my mccain/palin button on the subway this morning, but i had my ipod on and pretended not to notice. i love it.

I agree. You have blacks voting for Obama because he is black. You have non-racists being called racists because they disagree with Obama on topics not even related to race. You have a reawakening of the welfare mentality which will no doubt flow down to poor African American communities, among others. And all the while, the media covers up truth, and justice, and exalts a lie.

Sad sorry state we’re in.

It’s going to be like Detroit and the NBA playoffs.

Win: Burn it down.

Lose: Burn it down.

I feared Palin was in danger for most of the campaigning and right into the election period. My prayers are with her and McCain everyday.

Actually, I think one of the agendas for printing articles like this one is to influence the election. “Vote for Obama or the cities will burn” is a subtext. Some of the squishy middle would be influenced by the implied threat.

This is a given ... If (when?) McCain wins, the loonies will flip violent faster than you can say “tolerance”. I hope the National Guard is preparing in advance as well. I suspect they’ll be needed.

I think if he wins or loses they will riot.

Loses- they will riot out of anger

Wins-a riot unlike any Super Bowl victory you have ever seen. Will make the burning cars of Paris like dim flickering bulbs.
