"Simple Sambo" and "Ignorant Mammy"": That's how Democrats view Blacks
National Black Republicans ^ | Frances Rice

Posted on 10/21/2008 11:21:00 AM PDT by Winged Hussar

Democrats, who claim that they care about diversity, use despicable racial stereotypes, just as Democrats did during the days of slavery and Jim Crow, to slur black professionals, such as Dr. Condoleezza Rice and Maryland Lt. Governor Michael Steele.

...Brazenly, on the left-wing Internet website called "The News Blog," Democrats posted a doctored photograph of Mr. Steele, depicting him as a "Simple Sambo." This contemptible racist stereotype is the same one that Democrats used to demean blacks during the era of slavery and segregation.

In addition to other outrageous racist images produced by several Democrats, cartoonist Jeff Danziger depicted Dr. Rice as an ignorant, barefoot "mammy," reminiscent of the stereotyped black woman in the movie Gone with the Wind who remarked: "I don't know nothin' 'bout birthin' no babies."

Democrats feel free to display such blatant racism because they know that they can take the black vote for granted. Black Americans need to wake up, think for themselves and get off of the Democratic Party's plantation. The National Black Republican Association is dedicated to exposing the failed socialist policies and racist past of the Democratic Party that has hijacked the civil rights record of the Republican Party.

Yes, these Democrats are everywhere in middle management doing everything to ignore a minority makes in the organization.

These are the democrats who go to Obama rallies but come back and shoot down any opportunities that a minority might have for advancement.

I rather work with someone whose views I know than with a person who says one thing on your face and does something else behind your back.

great article!
how can obama be touting a landslide win? can some one help me out here?
this time last election they had kerry much higher than obama in the polls, so by the medias history, obama is losing.
yah, we had “demos for bush” during that election....but did kerry have “blacks against kerry”? (who they expected same percentage to kerry as obama..dem ticket and all)or “native americans against kerry”? or PUMAS?
no bradley effect with kerry either, or concerns in their own party about the candidate being muslim. kerrys down fall was his arrogance and vietnam. obama has much more garbage. what gives? am i being to optimistic to believe he is going to lose?

When Powell endorsed Obama, Newsbusters found a Daily Kos thread from 2004 in which he was called “Uncle Tom Powell”
who was out stomping for votes for “Massuh Bush”.

There's some incredibly vile stuff on that site.

What a sewer of a mind that man has! It must really suck to be him.

Black Americans need to wake up, think for themselves and get off of the Democratic Party's plantation.

I've been saying this for 30 years!

Michael Steele is a good, decent man. There is no other description necessary. I was not familiar with him before this election, but his appearances Fox have been great. He puts the lie the leftists talking points with ease.

Speaking as a white conservative, I would like very much to vote for a black President, but not some left-wing inexperienced radical.

It broke my heart to see Steele and Blackwell not elected,
I'm pretty sure Lynn Swann would have been good too, though I don't know all that much about him.

Trouble is, the Dems and especially the press HATE it when people don't conform to their prejudices. Especially when it's people they think they “own”.

What a bunch of BS!

Damn it, I’m tired of being told I’m a racist simply because I’m white!!!

As another FReeper said today......

I’m not against 0bama because he’s Black. I’m against him because he’s Red!
