No, Joe ain't that clever. He's prone to gaffes and always has been his whole career. But, because he's a lib-dem, they rest of the world is never shown the "real" Joe Biden. The MSM sweeps anything and everything under the rug. This would have been swept there, too, if the McCain campaign hadn't made a big deal out of it.............
Biden is not that smart. This guy is definitely a dufus. I think he was just shooting off his mouth and this is what came out.

The quote in question was no gaffe. The man was dead serious and made points in depth. He was speaking from his heart and depth of experience.
He was intent on making a strong point. The bad guys are coming for President Obama early in 2009.

No, that's just what Joe Biden always does. He has been doing this kind of stuff for years. He's a Gaff-O-Matic who never knows when to stop talking. When he has a crowd in front of him he feels compelled to prove he's the smartest guy in the room and then goes on to prove just how really stupid he is. It is impossible for the guy to stay on message. Either his ego or his intellectual insecurity (take your pick) will not allow him.
And Obama was just as stupid picking this clown for his running mate. Supposedly he was picked him for his foreign policy experience! This is a guy who could end up starting a war with his big mouth.
