Signs are now available at the Johnstown office - 401 Franklin St, the Mt. Pleasant office - 638 W. Main St.

and at county HQ's. Come on in and pick yours up.

Just to let you know - our wonderful Hot Dog Day coordinators (all 21 of them) and their volunteers put together an event that district-wide brought as many people into contact with Bill Russell as the Sarah Palin rally in Johnstown last week. That's about 5,000 people in one day in 2 hours. Talk about a successful event!!!!!

We are working on our final pushes and could use your help.

1. Pen Pal for Russell - can you send 10 pamphlets (we supply pamphlet and envelope) to your friends or family who live in the district, asking them to join you in voting for Bill? Give us a call and we will get you a pen pal kit.

2. Phone calls - if you haven't made any, now is the perfect time. The callers (aged 18 to 75) are reporting that they are enjoying themselves. We supply the list, the directions, and the follow up. Send me an email, and get your list today.

3. Walkers - the weather is perfect. can you knock on doors this weekend and next to introduce your neighborhood to Bill. We supply the walking kit, and directions.

4. Poll workers - if you haven't signed up to work a poll, now is the time.

Watch for our mailings, and if you haven't seen today's commercial, watch the news tonight and enjoy.

I've already seen it on both the CBS and ABC affiliates in the last half-hour. If you havn't seen the ad, you can view it here...STAND UP FOR WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA
