Look, I’ve always thought Powell was little more than a face of “diversity” put out there to fulfill a quota to keep the media wolves at bay.

Today only confirmed who he really is.

Hell's Bells! No one in the MSM has been asking Nobama any questions as it is. Sit down, Joe!

So did Obama get a job overnight, ACORN is not hiring are they, or did some racist endorse him? Neither changes the fact Obama has no experience, other than playing some street thug in Chcago and is totally unqualified for the job.

Why do they have to try and say this at this late time, are there lingering doubts?

Yes I said it, Powell endorsed Obama because of race.

Interesting that the main cog in the invasion of Iraq is now a welcomed endorsement?? Says something about both their judgements.

.....questions about the Illinois senator’s ability to be commander-in-chief will be put to rest.
:::::::::::
Sorry Joe, but you are showing your total stupidity, your disdain for any intelligence in the American public, and your ignorance that Powell, in any way, can CHANGE WHAT OBAMA IS, AND IS NOT, is beyond a living lie.

And Joe, I do not believe that Powell said that Obama was qualified to be C-in-C. He endorsed him...that is all. Take note Joe. The informed and alert sector of the voting public did.....

This is an excellent critique of the Powell-Obama endorsement, showing how little sense it makes.... from stillright.com

First, Powell praised Obama for his economic plan in the same interview during which he blamed McCain for supposedly abandoning Republican principles. But Powell did not specify what he liked about Obama’s economic plan, and if I were doing the interview I would have asked “What exactly do you like about Obama’s economic plan, a plan whose cornerstone is a tax increase? And how is Obama’s proposed tax hike anything other than a typical liberal Democrat idea? And isn’t McCain’s plan for a tax cut completely consistent with conservative free-market ideals? And isn’t McCain’s tax cut right out of the Reagan playbook? Why do you think it’s a good idea to raise taxes (in the midst of an economic downturn) on the most succesful companies and people in the US? Aren’t those people and those companies in the best position to expand and create jobs?”

Delaware senator to more than 11,000 supporters in a minor league ballpark, his biggest crowd to date when campaigning without Obama.

Quite sad... can someone remind me again why Obama picked Biden?

Sorry, Biden, but I can question Obambi’s utter lack of experience all I want. Powell's endorsement proves nothing save for Powell is more obsessed with melanin than qualifications.

Oh, let’s just forget the election and anoint him King already!

It’s clear the majority of Americans have lost the ability to think and want Barack to take care of their every need. Let’s just get on with it!

Unless Powell has become a socialist, his endorsement is purely on the basis of race, in my opinion.

Regardless, it will be interesting to see how his “side-switching” plays out in the polls.

I doubt if it sways voters to Obama because the race vote is with him already.

Rather, it could cause some voters to break towards McCain as the racial tones of Powell's endorsement can be construed as offensive.

Net, net, considering Powell's recent history of less than steady beliefs, McCain may grab a point or so in the next polling data.

Powell is one of the 93% of blacks who refuse to vote for the white candidate. So what? Wouldn’t it be a bigger story if he was in the 7% of blacks that support the more qualified candidate instead of being blinded by race? If Iraq is the Democrat issue of this time, they consider Powell WRONG ,correct?

Did Brokejaw ask about his not coming forward and spill the beans on Richard Armitage while he let Scooter Libby hang out to dry? Now to support a fellow black in hopes of getting a job he climbs from under his rock.
He’s wrong now too, so what?
