Fox News has been covering the McCain campaign's "outrage" over a Cindy McCain profile in the New York Times this weekend. But besides just reporting the story throughout the day, FNC has made it easy for those equally outraged with a cancellation phone number and complaint email address in their lower thirds of the TV screen.
Oh brother - look at this article where she interviewed the good old Rev J.Wright in 2007 - http://www.alternet.org/blogs/peek/49627/
....”We talked about how refreshing it would be for someone who knew about Islam to be in the Oval Office. Your own question to me was, Didn’t I think it would be incredible to have somebody in the Oval Office who not only knew about Muslims, but had living and breathing Muslims in his own family?
I told you how important it would be to have a man who not only knew the difference between Shiites and Sunnis prior to 9/11/01 in the Oval Office, but also how important it would be to have a man who knew what Sufism was;”...........
Time to find her personal info, address, etc and blast it out over the net.
Is there a number on the FNC website where a person can complain about the bias towards Obama by the Fox all stars?
Not going to happen. They would first have to admit that the Wash Times exists - an they won't do that.
Good post.
I’ll check out my funds.
Hahahaha, you’re kidding right?? They’re too busy bashing Joe the Plumber, declaring this election over, and unabashedly praising The One all while neglecting to actually do their jobs and vet Obama.
Yes, that damn biased Fox. SHAME ON THEM! CNN and MSNBC would NEVER do anything similar if Michelle Obama was the subject of a hit piece in the Wash. Times. Riiiight. Not only would the MSM cry foul but Mr. Anti-Free Speech aka “The One” would sic the DOJ on WA Times ASAP. And CNN and MSNBC would instantly blame McCain.
Get over yourself.
There is nothing NYTs can do to reverse this. As they lose subscribers they have to reduce the cost to advertise in their pages. As they lose revenue they have to cut staff. Even if they changed their left wing ideology which started this slide, it’s probably too late. Good riddance.
"Ignorance is the most expensive commodity traded in the United States"... Rush Limbaugh.
Among others, he was directing that to you.
Climb out from under your rock, and inform yourself of the actions of the NYT before outing yourself as an ignorant fool.
This goes WAY, WAY, WAY, beyond one story, or even just this election.
Even those just casually aware of their surroundings know that.
But CNN and CBS didn’t do that.
So I don’t care.
This “take the high road” crap has got to cease. We’re in a war for the future direction of this nation. Either freedom and liberty or socialism. If some press outlets get bloodied, so much the better.
Anything that helps to take down Obama’s press secretaries at the “Slimes” and other liberal outlets is fine by me. I think what Fox News did was great, and every time a paper pulls this kind of stunt they should put THEIR cancellation numbers up there, too.
Its time to play hardball and go to political DefCon3.
The “Times” ironically is sinking faster than the ship that made that paper did. It was the coverage of the “Titanic” disaster that made the NYT New York’s pre-eminent paper.
Has Pinky hired an orchestra to start playing “Nearer My God To Thee”?
A few thousand here, a few thousand there, and soon you're talking real numbers...
By way of educating yourself to the realities of the political world, here is a thread you should read: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2109840/posts
“The New York Times will break new ground on the health of the presidential candidates and their running mates in a major expose set to be published in Monday’s print edition”
Come out from under your rock, join the rest of us.
This is FreeRepublic, there is no excuse to remain ignorant.
Thanks.
Let your family members, friends and any other Republicans know about this.
Some people on my list when I first sent this out about 2 years ago owned multiple mutual funds with NYT stock. Those funds were not doing good then and worse now.
Thanks for the kind words. It is amazing what happens when one’s mind and fingers are free flowing at the keyboard.
“Send a letter to the fund managers and the CEO’s of the mutual fund company telling them why you sold/transferred their mutual fund owning NY Slimes stock. Then demand to know why they are wasting your precious $’s on a lie based fishwrap company which is a terrible investment.”
