'Socialist,' 'Muslim' — Ugly reception for Obama By: Politico Staff October 19, 2008 03:56 PM EST
Barack Obama's stop at Cape Fear BBQ and Chicken in Fayetteville, N.C., this afternoon underscored the continued resistance of some voters to his candidacy — and his identity. The trip, according to a pool report, offered “some powerful and at times ugly interaction.”
Campaigning in a traditionally Republican state, the Democratic nominee found lots of supporters of John McCain, at least one woman who believes the Illinois senator is a "closet Muslim" — and another who repeatedly shouted “Socialist.”
The following is a compilation of pool reports from print, TV and wire reporters who accompanied Obama to the diner:
Obama arrived at the barbecue joint around 12:30 p.m., where an older and majority white clientele of several dozen were eating lunch after church services. Many patrons applauded as he walked into the diner, but Diane Fanning, 54, began yelling “Socialist, socialist, socialist — get out of here!”
Obama did not look directly at her, as she was across the diner, but it was loud enough that he most likely heard her.

I just feel sorry for the woman brave enough to call him for what he is. I expect the campaign and media to trash her like they did Joe. The truth squads and media can allow nothing truthful to be say about Obama.

If we were a monarchy/oligarchy which had access to an over powering populace controlling army, it would be “more” on the monarchy/oligarchy morally for leading the populace in an immoral way. We are a representative republic which means that it is easier for our leaders to “spread the immorality” around so that all the populace is culpable and that there remains no moral force to counter an immoral government/elected ruling class.
Thus we fall into mobism and factionalism and are easily manipulated thru our worst moral failings.
A strong but immoral monarchic/oligarchic system faced with a growing and strong(persecuted they may be) moral and Christian populace finds itself with fewer and fewer allies over time and eventually must capitulate(ie Bulgaria). The most effective counter revolution to the Democrats is for a whole-sale joining of all Republicans and Conservatives to the Democrat party...in one fell swoop! Their most batty Dems can be eliminated in the primaries in one or two election cycles, and the dem’s in power won’t no friend from foe!
It might be better for many conservatives and republicans to meld into the Democratic party,especially in overwhelming Democrat states to work within it with more morally sensible Dem’s so that the batty leftists that control the party in those states can be rooted out.
After all it was done to us. Look at the primaries where cross over voters voted for our weakest party candidates and knocked out our best ones...we only caught on to that trick too late.
There is truth in that.
The leftist moles infiltrated the GOP in California and Oregon, especially at the local levels. Maybe returning the favor is a good idea if all goes ill.

You understand what I’m getting at...it may be time to add a little conservative seasoning to the Demrat party in the more overwhelming Dem states to bring the leftists to heel and expose them at the party cores...the conservatives will join with the more moderate prolife sorts of Dems to stiffen their spines against the PC loonies in their party. A return to a type of Zell Miller Democrat party will better orient the country’s politics and leave the ultra socialists at the fringe! As for the Republican RINO’s, they had best better be strongly encouraged to leave. Better yet, the Republican party needs to be newly reconstituted, even have its names and emblems changed...as a new 2 party dialectic is badly needed!
Democrats cry change...so lets change...but not in the way they are anticipating, morally aroused and Godly people think dynamically...not statically! Godly and moral conservatives are the “real change folks”...”The outer man perishes but the inner man is renewed day by day” Our Republican Party needs to adopt that vision of hope!
