These damn “polls” are all over the place. I think some pollsters are trying to resist the Obamanoid Tingle but are having a difficult time at it.

With 12% undecided you would think they would wind up voteing McCain because lord knows they have had the “chosen one” forced down their throuts for over a year.

Oh sweet, the birds are chirping and signing outside again!
This is sick. I was literally prepared to vomit all over my keyboard if TIPP had kept going in the wrong direction... Wow. Need a break !
p.s. This poll still has insane internals - McCain leading 18-24 by double digits.

41.5% and I’m supposed to get excited over that? But regardless - it’s baloney that McCain is that low.

The networks want that O cash. They have to keep it close so they can get their cut of O’s 1/2 billion budget. Think of the money being spent , at best O has a 4 or 5 pt lead. O over polls and is not a good closer. This is hardly over .

so many undecided?Yes. Most polls push "undecideds" to make a choice. They keep asking the question until a choice is given. There are still a lot of soft 'persuadable' voters who could change their minds.

ALL of these polls have some VERY strange internals this election cycle if you ask me. Maybe that is always the case, but I do wonder about accurate sample data collection by all of the pollsters for various reasons known and unknown this time.
For example:
- The first 3 days of this tracking poll had Obama with a 2-1 advantage among those 18-24, yet over the last few days up to today McCain now is up 52%-42% among that youngest age group. That sure doesn't seem to make any sense.
- And they have Obama getting 87% of Democrats, yet McCain only at 82% with Republicans (losing 10% of them to Obama). Again, sure doesn't seem at all what I expect on election day.

I think they’re releasing two or three polls a day.
By the weekend before the election, they’ll be releasing two or three poll per hour. Every one will show Obama solidly ahead.

There is something very weird with this poll. Look at the Age groups. The 18-24 group started out as you have been told to expect them with a huge Obama lead: Three days in a row with Obama polling 65% or more. But then on Day 4 suddenly this gruop swings around and is positive for McCain, and last three days McCain polls morre than 50% in this group. What gives?

You want the trend.... You want Obama under 50%. The history from the contested primaries shows that Obama generally stood at his final number, while Hillary got all the undecideds (the bitter clingers, ya know)

Obama can’t close the deal and Biden is ranting about racism. I think they’re afraid of Palin turning out voters bigtime in swing states which is why Powell attacked her today.
