I can’t imagine why anyone would be shocked over this endorsement. Is there anyone who truly didn’t expect it?

I would have been shocked if Powell had sat this out without stabbing the Republican party in the back.
I thought also this would be his ultimate passive aggressive “gotcha!” moment.
