The final Rasmussen Reports telephone survey in New Hampshire’s Democratic Presidential Primary shows Barack Obama leading Hillary Clinton 37% to 30%.

Clinton has a slight edge among Democrats but the Illinois Senator enjoys a more than 2-to-1 advantage among Independent voters likely to vote in the Democratic Primary.

What?
You cannot be serious to say Obama was not known as well?

Rasmussen had Hillary winning 49% to Obama 44% and the final outcome was Hillary 54.6% to 45.4%.

I wouldn’t put any stock in this kind of analogy at all, even if Obama himself is doing so. Obama was much more of an unknown quantity back then. A lot of people have since gotten used to him.

Obama has already turned McCain's best debate line against him in a terrific ad. "'I'm not George Bush'....yeah, well ya did vote with him 90% of the time..." etc. Running almost every minute on every single channel tonight. Rays get 3 outs on TBS...Obama ad. Commercial for Terminator 2 on AMC...Obama ad. Ice Road Truckers suspenseful break on History...Obama ad. And this is in CT!!! I haven't seen a McCain ad in 2 weeks. Who said we are the "party of the rich"? McCain is campaigning like he's on welfare, which of course he is.

McCain didn’t have a snowball’s chance in hell in CT. Bush was lucky to win Greenwich (and with the demographic changes going on, it will likely go Dem in the future), New Canaan, and Darien, along with Litchfield County. Hartford County, and the New London area will go GOP when you can make Nutmeg pie...

Yeah I can’t believe McCain is so stingy with the ads. Obama ads are everywhere. Doesn’t affect my vote but a lot of casual undecideds might be swayed. So much for the 160 mil we keep hearing about.

Poor old mayor Tom. He really was a good guy and a gentleman who worked his way up from police officer to lawyer to city counsel then mayor. I know he was a Democrat but one of the better ones.

“So much for the 160 mil we keep hearing about.”

Tell you what....please come here to SW PA and take these campaign ads. Every commercial break on whatever channel my wife is watching is running a McCain ad or an Altimare vs. Melissa Hart (or vice versa) ad.

So, trust me, his $160M is at work as is part of the RNC.

Union ads are picking up though....my favorite radio ad is how McCain voted against 78% of coal production back in 2003...oh, and the union TV ad claiming how everyone is losing their jobs and we’re all basically dead if McCain gets elected.

It seems all those undeclared voters are the “bitter clingers”. If Obama is under 50% on election day, McCain will win.

You got that right! I think Obama might get 45% of the vote.

Wow! Those Obamites would eat their young. I always wondered why the Texas numbers were so screwed up.
