Sony is a DISGRACE. The “offensive” words are two quotes from the koran, no more than ten words each. The quotes are in SOMALIAN. I think a whole 2 people might have been offended by this had the game been released as-is.
OH WELL, looks like I’ll have to wait another week or longer to pick up my pre-order. Thanks religion of peace!
M.Savage was right.
Neo-Fascist radical islam is about to tidal wave its way into the US
Oh, it’s okay to use Christian or Biblical references or words, as in cursing and saying “G*D damn” or “Jes*s Chr*st” and not saying it as a prayer, but two arabic words that happen to be in the koran are sacrosanct?
The Bible is quoted and misquoted ALL the time, from Madonna to the garage bands, and that’s fine.
If I find a koran, you can bet I’m going to do something offensive with it. And I don’t mean clog my septic tank.
I’ll probably get banned for this but ... To the Great RELIGION of PEACE:
I find your Koran Offensive, Violent, and OUTRAGEOUS. We Christians had a violent past, yes, to retake Christian Lands from YOU, the Great Religion of PEACE.
You want to WHINE about OFFENSIVE?? Try this ... Explain your SILENCE (or as in the case of NEW JERSEY) DANCING in the STREETS the day Adherants of the GREAT RELIGION OF PEACE ... MURDERED 3000 People.
In my humble Opinion, due to said silence, you are the ENEMY, and you have NO RIGHT TO BE OFFENDED... we have let you LIVE and LIVE FREE ... you are not in CAMPS for OUR SAFETY.
You want to be offended,,, fuggedaboutit... Show me where in the AMERICAN CONSTITUTION you have the RIGHT to NOT BE OFFENDED... UNTIL YOU DO ... SHUTHTEF*** UP!

“LittleBigPlanets little expressions cause big problems”
Sony has suffered a blow to its plans for a strong PlayStation 3 showing this holiday season with a delay to one of its marquee games.
LittleBigPlanet has been released to reviewers, but retail copies are now being held back while a part of the soundtrack considered of possible offence to Muslims is changed.
In a statement, Sony said it had been brought to its attention that one of the background music tracks contained two expressions that could be found in the Quran.
It said it was rectifying the situation and apologised for any offence it might have caused.”

“Mattel defends Islamic proselytizing doll”
Here’s a link to the “offensive” song:
http://www.myspace.com/toumanidiabate
It’s the third song in the list, “Tapha Niang”.
The quotes are “Every soul shall have the taste of death” and “All that is on earth will perish”. These are quotes straight from the koran. The artist is from Mali and certainly a Muslim himself.
So now I guess nobody (not even Muslims) are allowed to quote the koran because it’s “offensive”.
I don’t mind. It gives me time to play Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia. Prior to the delay, Little Big Planet and Order of Ecclesia were both scheduled to come out on the same day.
What about Electronic Arts allowing Obama signs in it games?
