John McCain won the endorsement of the Tampa Tribune Saturday, a key newspaper in the battleground state of Florida.
The paper, which leans conservative but chose not to endorse a candidate in 2004 over dissatisfaction with President Bush, said the "uncertain times require McCain's tested vigilance."
"McCain brings a lifetime of useful experience, including his grueling captivity in Vietnam and long Senate service. He believes in federalism, a strong defense and disciplined self-interest," the paper wrote. "McCain has been willing to cross party lines to work on tough problems. He co-authored a campaign finance law that failed to fulfill its objective, but he did muster the bipartisan support needed to try to control the buying and selling of public office."

I see the Trib’s offices being trashed and vandalized. They should have endorsed “The One” just to keep their property from being destroyed. This takes a lot of guts.
Hmmmmmmm, Tampa Bay Rays versus Boston Red Sox and their hideous trifecta of Kennedy/Kerry /Fag.
When St. Louis isn’t playing I go with the Red city over the Blue one.
Zero’s comparison to Governor Palin...
His pay grade can’t come close to Sarah’s pay grade let alone McCains. LOL
This is an excellent comparison chart Dems, read and weep.

They’re obviously racist.
Also the Philadelphia Inquirer endorsed Obama BUT it was a “split decision” and they are publishing a dissenting endorsement of McCain which apparently contaions some scathing attacks on Obama.
I didn’t realize until now that Obama’s top campaign official, David Axelrod, ran a race baiting reelection campaign for Philly’s worst mayor John Street.
Axelrod turned out blacks in a close election by claiming criminal investigations of the corrupt Street administration were racist. Axelrod thereafter told a newspaper he was “just stirring the s**t”!
I truly believe now Obama will do to America what corrupt dems have done to the cities.
