We demand that Congress use due diligence and verify every single voter registration and vote from all of the states where voter fraud is currently being investigated in relationship with ACORN.
We demand that Congress hold the director of each ACORN office and/or branch accountable and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.
We demand that the election supervisors in the states in question also be held accountable for any fraudulent votes that may ultimately be cast in the 2008 General Election. Should any voter fraud be found as a result of negligence, we demand that the person holding the position of supervisor of elections be held accountable and persecuted to the fullest extent of the law!

Good luck to you, newbie and welcome to FR.
I hope this will not be another wish in one hand and see which fills up first attempt, as usually happens with this Congress.

Good luck with that, ACORN is the Obama campaign.
A more likely outcome is the Democrat Congress investigating the Republican suppression of the poor oppressed ACORN organization. And increased federal funding of ACORN activities.

And no doubt they’ll get right on it once they’re back in session....in January.

I can't sign a petition that says "persecuted" when it meant to say "prosecuted." I'm careful about the people I associate with.

My guess would be that if we could have ever elected a republican house and senate and president and attorney general, they would put a stop to things like this. “sac Off”

Sadly, your words are so true. BUT, we shall not falter and we will not fail. On to victory with a McPalin win and a pubbie supermajority in Congress.
I like to wish in one hand...

Congress has no say over state elections, that is a state’s responsiblity. The Secretary of State of each state of the union is the person ultimately responsible for verifying the votes of legally registered citizens of that particular state.
Each precinct in the nation has local election officials who should only be issuing provisional ballots to any person whose registration appears questionable.
In my state there are Republican and Democratic election officials stationed at every single precinct for precisely that purpose.

That isn’t the job of congress, unfortunately. Besides, congress is in the hands of dems.

Thanks for posting my article. I might add that one of the ways the Democrats get things done in their Democratic Congress and Senate is that they are continually having people sign petitions to have problems in the environment or immigration receive legislation. I would not throw this idea out because the more who sign both Republican and Democrat the better chances we will have of correcting ACORN abuses. One of their major activist sites is
http://care2.com and it carries over 9 million subscribers. Not to be critical of their agenda and momentum but it is important to note that their whole drive to get change done is through petitions and blogs.
