The article is shameless. At one point, the author posed as a 16 year old on myspace to penetrate Cindy's daughters school friends and teachers. Plenty of picking on her for battles with drugs....

The Friends reported on it just now...called it an "in the toilet" hit piece. The McCain lawyer had a great response asking why they didn't go after Michelle, Barry's drug dealers or Barry's family in Kenya.

Just when you think the Slimes can't go any lower - on the positive side - Cindy has enough money in her petty cash account to sue pinchy into bankruptcy without even batting an eyelash....

Have they done one of these on Michell Obama? What about Obama’s drug use days? I guess Cocaine is okay when compared to prescription pain killers.

Bottom line Cindy McCain does not play their silly little games, so they don’t like her. Well boo freaking hoo.

Cindy McCain has helped more children in ONE year of her life than Hillary and Michelle have in their whole (cough, cough) careers.

Cindy was too busy really helping people around the world with her work to attend those little Washington “geesh arent I important, being married to a Senator” lunch bunch meetings.
How dare she actually do some good while they play at it.

Cindy McCain was new to Washington and not yet 30 when she arrived at a luncheon for Congressional spouses to discover a problem with her name tag. It read Carol McCain. That was the well-liked wife John McCain had left to marry Cindy, to the disapproval of many in Washington. I'm calling BS on this statement. IIRC, John McCain wasn't a Congressman while he was married to Carol, he was on an assignment from the Navy tasked to the Senate. He didn't run for Congress until after he was married to Cindy, and they were living in AZ.

I think the real story here is about a man and woman who've stayed together for 28+ years. Both of whom are highly ambitious, remarkably accomplished people. Their marriage doesn't look like that of Ward and June Cleaver (whose does), but they've made adaptations.
The only perfect person ever to have lived died so that we could live despite our broken and sinful natures. And every day is a new chance for redemption.

They could try to have the reporter charged for pedophile stalking...nothing would happen in the end but it would be entertaining to watch!
