*****Important Comments - What I found on my travels throughout the outer banks, NC

As most of you know, I have been traveling the east coast, hitting WV, NC, Virginia, PA, etc. What I noticed regarding the campaign: Signage is missing - this is from both sides. I feel a good sense of support for McCain, but more signage needs to go up. There needs to be more volunteers in the area to do this. Not just signage on home owners property, but on vacant land. While driving along the highways, there are many places where McCain Palin signs can be placed. Size doesn't matter, the Obama signs I did see were big - but there weren't many. There needs to be more McCain Palin signage. This needs to be present in every state, along tourist routes, business highways, etc. Size does not matter, just get the signs out there, including on property along side the roadway, city, park property, it needs to be there. There is plenty of time to do this before the election.

Overall, McCain is gaining more trust and greater following in the last couple of days. This needs to be reflected in signage, maybe even call up various radio stations and make comments - show support.

Secondly, the many radio and television stations I listened to while on my travels, a few stood out. One was an all black station 101.9 FM, out of Greenville, NC - Kiss FM on Thursday around 8 am - Obama supporters of course, and they were getting the following messages out to their audience. I believe you might find them very interesting and this can be very helpful to the McCain campaign: This should be sent to McCain.

1. This station was targetting Obama supporters, importantly former felons, they want to tell them that former fellons can vote, they are trying to reach them to tell them they can vote and to get out there and vote. And yes, this is an indication of some of the support Obama draws.

2. Apparently the station was reporting that some people have been sending some of the Obama supporters messages or flyers giving them the wrong information on the date of the election and telling them to be there. Yes, from what I have heard most of them have no clue what date the election is, - they really don't understand the issues, the election, and to the Obama that doesn't matter, they are going after them - for them this election is about race, not the issues, not integrity, so the station is trying to inform Obama supporters of the correct date to ensure they vote. The message they conveyed - is many of his supporters are uninformed, voting on race, with no idea about the issues, integrity or even the date of the election.

3. This radio station reported that many Obama supporters seem to think that Obama is President and that the Primaries were the election. They are announcing to their audience that the election has not taken place and they need to get out there and vote. I'll bet there are many more Obama supporters that have no clue about the election date, issues, and this is key.

4. The radio station is also trying to touch on the issue of voter fraud with relation to Obama and Acorn. Of course they know that Acorn and the Obama camp are heavily involved in this election together - they understand just what is going on with "deceased voters registring, etc" and their answer to this is to cry voter suppression. They are trying to make the case of voter suppression to counter the action that people registering should be validated, questioned, and need to be legitimate voters - they know of course the many names being registered for Obama are not legitimate and the way they suggested to work around this is to call for voter suppression.

They also made fun of McCain's arms - they were talking about him at the debate and laughed at him stating "his little arms barely reached the platform or table".

Yes, they were disgusting and this group can and will be beaten. We need to be educated and know what action to take - together.

I was happy to hear and see that McCain did so well last night at the Al Smith Dinner in New York. Obama did not match McCain. This was good for McCain, the humor injected suited him well and empowered him and rejuivenated his campaign. It also threw Obama off guard. McCain needs to do more of this. I believe Fox news threw out some criticism of McCain in the last debate, but it seems to me it was because they wanted him to come out tougher against Obama, and not back down on the issues of Wright, Ayers, Acorn. Obama likes to slither away from questions, or tries to make them non issues.

McCain needs to keep them in the light, keep Obama under pressure until the questions are answered satisfactorily by Obama. At this time they have not been, and I was happy to see McCain throw out the comments about all issues at last nights dinner. Obama looked uncomfortable. He was laughing, but it wasn't genuine. He knew exactly what was implied as did Hillary. McCain touched on issues about Bill Clinton being missing in action - and that he conveniently finds reasons not to support or campaign for Obama.

This was not missed on Hillary or Obama, great to see. This hurt Obama.

I see that Glenn Beck joins Fox news, this is good for Fox news, McCain and bad for Obama.

It would take a lot from southern VA. But Obama has got northern VA locked up, so he is focussing all his time in southern VA. We really need VA to stay vigilent and fight hard these next 2 weeks.

Remember though the so called “black vote” is valuable to the Dems because it is the one vote in a close election that the Dem Vote Fraud machine can get at 100%. The black precincts wait until the end of the night to find out how many votes they need and then they manufacture the votes and turn them seeing Dems win by a narrow margin (surprise!) The reason they get away from it is because the Republicans are worried about being called racist or accused of “supressing the vote.”

Do you have a login for HCF? I don’t and can’t seem to find where to register on their site. If you do, let me know. I have signs and will mail them to this guy.

I have driven through some of the most horrible neighborhoods in South Side Chicago. I looked at those neighborhoods and wondered, “Why hasn’t anything been done to clean these places up?” Then I remembered that Chicago is run by liberal Democrats who know that if they cleaned up the South Side, you’d start getting a lot more Republican voters moving in.

Liberals don’t give a sh*t about the poor.

Alright here’s reporting from southeastern Michigan. I happen to think that yard signs tell a story. I understand that the pollsters and those who study this for a living will tell you that you can’t take anecdotes into consideration. I know all of that.

Here’s my story though. I live in what most would consider an affluent suburb of the metropolitan Detroit area. I work in Macomb County. For the last two weeks I have driven a completely different route home each day on side streets looking specifically for yard signs for McCain or Obama. Yes, I look down streets I drive by and I frequently have to pull over because there is a car on my tail.

There is zero groundswell of support for Obama as it relates to yard signs. People who are more brilliant than I am, will, I’m sure, have an explanation for this. Of course, the next question someone will ask is “well what about yard signs for McCain?” Honest answer...spotty at best before hitting my community, but ALWAYS more McCain signs than Obama’s no matter what route I take.

I know it’s anecdotal, but it is what it is. Macomb County is big time Democrat country and there is near zero support for Obama if you’re looking at it from a lawn sign perspective. The experts will say that there are lots of reasons for that, but I’m just telling you what I’ve seen.

don't worry.....these islamists will take these people by the hand

"islamists"? Obama and the people running his campaign are Marxists. They are of course allied with the radical islamists in their hatred of America, but they are NOT religious in the least. Black Liberation Theology is Marxist.

"Their founding document [the Weather Underground's] called for the establishment of a "white fighting force" to be allied with the "Black Liberation Movement" and other "anti-colonial" movements[1] to achieve "the destruction of US imperialism and the achievement of a classless world: world communism."..."-Berger, Dan (2006). "they [the Weather Underground] employed revolutionary jargon, advocated armed struggle and black liberation and began bombing buildings, taking responsibility for at least 20 attacks. Estimates of their number ranged at times from several dozen to several hundred."

I think they have stopped taking new registrants right now, I know they were overwhelmed at one point and the moderator could not handle.

There are quite a few repubs there nowadays since “the enemy of my enemy is my friend”.

The deal in WNC is a classic Urban v Rural scenario, in Town, Obama is a big deal, out in the styx, we are talking about Old School Democrats who will not vote for Obama...period..

So the Obamanauts are trying to run up the score in Asheville to try and cancel out the Rural Votes where McCain should dominate.

I found a pretty effective argument to shut up the vote suppression folks. It’s actually a Sarah Palin response she used in Ohio.

You mention ACORN and they immediately launch into the
Diebold, 2000 Gore Florida, 2004 Kerry Ohio bravo sierra that has been heavily investigated to no end.

I countered this by insisting that I was all for a fair investigation by the FBI into any and all ocurrences or indications of voter suppression, bad machines-to include machine’s loaded with votes before election day, voter fraud, the dead voting...etc..

You get the point. I haen’t found any liberals that think this is a good idea, they fall back on “well there are other more important issues we need to deal with-the ecomonmy destructive boll weevils in cotton crops, etc....

It calls them on their bull caka and they know it.

I thought Glenn had been on CNN, which, if I am right, was better because there he is needed.

Yeah....reporting from Memphis. Lots more McCain/Palin signs than Obama/Biden signs. But the numbers of signs overall are low. Considering this is a heavily democratic and majority African American city, I was surprised to see so few Obama/Biden signs.

We've had a pretty good turn out for early voting though. Maybe people just aren't bothering with signs this year. I don't know. I don't have one. LOL

I had a totally different experience just tonight at a local neighborhood mini-mart here in mostly liberal New Jersey.

Another patron and I got to talking about the stock market, after which we veered into the economy, history, families, values, the role of government and many other things, after which he expressed his great delight at having his beliefs confirmed in what someone else was saying. Oh, yea, he was African-American.
