*****Important Comments - What I found on my travels throughout the outer banks, NC

As most of you know, I have been traveling the east coast, hitting WV, NC, Virginia, PA, etc. What I noticed regarding the campaign: Signage is missing - this is from both sides. I feel a good sense of support for McCain, but more signage needs to go up. There needs to be more volunteers in the area to do this. Not just signage on home owners property, but on vacant land. While driving along the highways, there are many places where McCain Palin signs can be placed. Size doesn't matter, the Obama signs I did see were big - but there weren't many. There needs to be more McCain Palin signage. This needs to be present in every state, along tourist routes, business highways, etc. Size does not matter, just get the signs out there, including on property along side the roadway, city, park property, it needs to be there. There is plenty of time to do this before the election.

Overall, McCain is gaining more trust and greater following in the last couple of days. This needs to be reflected in signage, maybe even call up various radio stations and make comments - show support.

Secondly, the many radio and television stations I listened to while on my travels, a few stood out. One was an all black station 101.9 FM, out of Greenville, NC - Kiss FM on Thursday around 8 am - Obama supporters of course, and they were getting the following messages out to their audience. I believe you might find them very interesting and this can be very helpful to the McCain campaign: This should be sent to McCain.

1. This station was targetting Obama supporters, importantly former felons, they want to tell them that former fellons can vote, they are trying to reach them to tell them they can vote and to get out there and vote. And yes, this is an indication of some of the support Obama draws.

2. Apparently the station was reporting that some people have been sending some of the Obama supporters messages or flyers giving them the wrong information on the date of the election and telling them to be there. Yes, from what I have heard most of them have no clue what date the election is, - they really don't understand the issues, the election, and to the Obama that doesn't matter, they are going after them - for them this election is about race, not the issues, not integrity, so the station is trying to inform Obama supporters of the correct date to ensure they vote. The message they conveyed - is many of his supporters are uninformed, voting on race, with no idea about the issues, integrity or even the date of the election.

3. This radio station reported that many Obama supporters seem to think that Obama is President and that the Primaries were the election. They are announcing to their audience that the election has not taken place and they need to get out there and vote. I'll bet there are many more Obama supporters that have no clue about the election date, issues, and this is key.

4. The radio station is also trying to touch on the issue of voter fraud with relation to Obama and Acorn. Of course they know that Acorn and the Obama camp are heavily involved in this election together - they understand just what is going on with "deceased voters registring, etc" and their answer to this is to cry voter suppression. They are trying to make the case of voter suppression to counter the action that people registering should be validated, questioned, and need to be legitimate voters - they know of course the many names being registered for Obama are not legitimate and the way they suggested to work around this is to call for voter suppression.

They also made fun of McCain's arms - they were talking about him at the debate and laughed at him stating "his little arms barely reached the platform or table".

Yes, they were disgusting and this group can and will be beaten. We need to be educated and know what action to take - together.

I was happy to hear and see that McCain did so well last night at the Al Smith Dinner in New York. Obama did not match McCain. This was good for McCain, the humor injected suited him well and empowered him and rejuivenated his campaign. It also threw Obama off guard. McCain needs to do more of this. I believe Fox news threw out some criticism of McCain in the last debate, but it seems to me it was because they wanted him to come out tougher against Obama, and not back down on the issues of Wright, Ayers, Acorn. Obama likes to slither away from questions, or tries to make them non issues.

McCain needs to keep them in the light, keep Obama under pressure until the questions are answered satisfactorily by Obama. At this time they have not been, and I was happy to see McCain throw out the comments about all issues at last nights dinner. Obama looked uncomfortable. He was laughing, but it wasn't genuine. He knew exactly what was implied as did Hillary. McCain touched on issues about Bill Clinton being missing in action - and that he conveniently finds reasons not to support or campaign for Obama.

This was not missed on Hillary or Obama, great to see. This hurt Obama.

I see that Glenn Beck joins Fox news, this is good for Fox news, McCain and bad for Obama.

These points prove to me a theory I’ve been harboring for a few weeks: A lot of blacks who are supposedly seriously pumped to get out and vote for Zero don’t know when the election is, don’t know how to register, don’t know where to go to vote, and really have no actual intention of doing so. They just want to say they will.

I also believe there is an effect where a lot of people are telling pollsters they are registered and plan to vote, when really they have no such intention and have no idea how to do so.

Not bad, but to give an example of how all out Obama is going in NC, James Taylor of “Going to Carolina in My Mind” fame is giving a free concert in Asheville Downtown this Sunday.

Who knows who else they will send to WNC?

We have great signage in Central Virginia. Stop by Colonial Heights and Chester. We can not keep signs in. They are snapped up as soon as we get them in.

Bless their hearts. We can help: Since turnout is supposed to be very heavy this year and election officials are concerned about crowding, be sure to inform them that McCain voters are supposed to vote on Tuesday, Nov. 4, and Obama voters should show up on Wednesday, Nov. 5.

I think a lot of black voters have very good BS radars and they know a snake oil salesman when they see/hear one. The BO is easy to figure out and I bet the black vote will underwhelm on 11/4!

Here in Chandler, AZ-—I haven’t seen a total of 5 signs. In 2004, Bush and Kerry signs were everywhere.

Hey Maelstorm, you guys got to pull Virginia for us. We will pull Florida. If Virginia goes for the socialist, then we are in trouble.... Please help protect our freedoms up there and we will do our part down here in sunny Florida.

See the Howard Stern clip from Harlem, they think Sarah Palin is Obama’s VP...

Oh, those public schools...teaching global warming and homosexual marriage...but forgetting reading, writing, science, math and history...

One positive note in Scottsdale is the number of McCain/Palin bumper stickers on cars. The “winter” people are beginning to invade again, and thus bringing the Obama stickers. . .Ugh. . .

I worked in home health for several years. My visits included some the worst neighborhoods. It is heart breaking to see so many people living hopeless lives. I wish there was some way to reach them; to break the grip of the corrupt liberals who hold them hostage in poverty.

If people of their own race who succeed are rejected, how can someone of a different race reach them? It is a frustrating situation that must be solved if we are ever to help these folks have some measure of success.

Welfare is a toxic drug. It kills the will to struggle forward.

I really think Virginia goes for McCain. I am not seeing the support needed for Obama here for him to pull it out.

Didn’t Bush win Virginia by 8? Wouldn’t it take alot to swing it in Obama’s favor just 4 years later?

Using sinage as a basis for quantifying Obama support is a poor idea because the ones campaign specifically doesnt print off many signs.

Don’t know about WNC, but here in Eastern NC there are tons of McCain signs and no Obama signs. Keep in mind this is a semi rural area and a predominantly Repub area as well. I do know there is an Obama office in nearby Southern Pines though. They have campaign HQ in Fayetteville too, home of Bragg.

Eadio station 99.1 is absolutely horrendous in their attacks on McCain & Palin. What’s so funny is these people are all so ignorant, and it is a Rap station so it’s clear theyre voting for him because of race.
