Network news executives said they are preparing for an unusual Election Night challenge: How to be honest with the audience, and still keep them tuned in, if the race between John McCain and Barack Obama is effectively decided before most Americans have finished dinner. --------------------------------------------------------

Politico has really gone down the toilet in the last month or so..

I don’t think it will happen. I really believe it will be a McCain landslide and rejection of socialism, marxism, fascism and all of the left wing kooks beliefs.

Have Faith (see tagline if confidence is waning)

Ah, Politico—how many times could they be so WRONG?

If you check out the link, the videos they have posted are all pro-Obama. Politico is a left wing hack. They did have a large advertisement to go visit Obama’s site.

Hi Allegra hope you are doing well!

If these nuts are trying to stir the pot, I hope Republicans pay attention and get out there and VOTE!

If VA comes in for McCain, then the only other state I'm worried about at this point is CO.

But I'm seeing a lot of signs that PA could go McCain which indeed, will make for an early night.

I’m betting that the networks will start calling states for O with 1% of the returns in if he’s ahead..

You might be surprised about NJ. My dear, 90 yr old granny will be voting for McCain and she has never voted for a Republican. I have actually seen more McCain yard signs than Obama signs.

Real Clear Politics put North Dakota back into toss up status today. If ND goes Obama then everyone goes Obama

With the polls at a 2-3 point spread, bambi campaigning in NH, which is already “a given”, why are they predicting a landslide?
bambi shouldn’t be waisting his time if NH is already his. Something about the internals must suggest things are not as grand as they would like us to think.

??? This is a propaganda, they want us to feel defeated and give up and not even go to the polls. This isn’t even true. No reputuble station would say this, especially when the polls are only 2 points apart right now. Nice try.

Hi CC! All is well here and the weather has finally goten very nice.

I voted a few days ago and mailed it in. Ballots are flying out of here like there's no no tomorrow. And I think that's how people really see it. I can guarantee you that a huge majority of the votes coming from here are not for The One. :)

That’s as ridiculous as putting Cuba in the “Free nations” category among the International Monetary Fund rankings.

Politico: Because one Washington Post just wasn’t enough

And yet another discouraging poll-related thread from a poster with a whole week and a half under his belt...

Yawn.
