Network news executives said they are preparing for an unusual Election Night challenge: How to be honest with the audience, and still keep them tuned in, if the race between John McCain and Barack Obama is effectively decided before most Americans have finished dinner. --------------------------------------------------------

Politico has really gone down the toilet in the last month or so..

“...campaigning like a whore at a convention...”

What a great analogy.

They are gonna declare Obama the winner only to find 1. There is massive voter fraud across many states. 2. He is not qualified (i.e natural born citizen). This thing is gonna drag on for months.

By January, it’ll be either McCain or Hillary and Obama will have made history as the greatest loser we have ever seen.

Obama is already measuring the drapes. No need to go out and vote/volunteer, McCain-Palin supporters, all that’s left is the coronation of King Obama.

LIKE HELL.

There is just no way I will believe the majority of voters will pick Obama. Besides voter fraud, their only hope is discouraging McCain supporters from going to the polls.

Gone down the toilet?

Politico built an office complex IN the toilet and they work there year round.

They spend their summers in a cottage in the urinal, and they winter in a beachhouse on the edge of the bidet.

They could also face a 50/50 split with weeks of Democrat lawsuits.

They're nuts. At least 6% if not up to 8% of the electorate will not vote for a black guy, especially a radical Marxist black guy. They can attribute it to racism, or whatever, but it's the "Bradley Effect" and it is a political reality.

No one on their side is taking this into account. When people go into that voting booth and those two names are in front of them, they'll vote McCain, even if it makes them feel a little guilty (for whatever insane reason), and that'll be that. And they'll lie to the exit polsters on the way out.

So watch for huge discrepancies between the exit polls and the actual vote totals as they come in. That will be your sign.

Obama has Grant Park reserved for his victory celebration.

McCain should see if he can get University of Phoenix Stadium - that's where the unbeatable go down to defeat.

Will they send the “President Obama” books and gear down to South America the way they do with Super Bowl losers’ paraphernalia?

The overt deception from the media this election has just been stunning!

When conservatives stay home, Dems win.

Just wanted to stress the previous poster's statement.

I wonder how much Politico gets paid by the Obama campaign to crank out BS like this?

It will be important to pull in as many Republican votes as possible in the lost territories of the Pacific time zone to keep the national popular vote totals up. It’s very possible that McCain might carry the electoral vote and lose the popular vote; suddenly it’s 2000 again only worse.

I agree. If McCain takes Pennsylvania, NC and Virginia early, it’s over.

And Florida. Don't forget Florida.

Politico was a moderate (liberal) rag. But it has clearly decided to hitch its ride on the Obama train the last few months.

Hey, from your keyboard to God's ears, but that' a pretty big "if".

We're gonna need OH too, and they may know that ACORN has stuffed 100,000 ballots for The One.

There are people who are surrounded by bigots
and know it is wrong, but are afraid to be vocal against it.
These people are going to pull the lever for Obama
and they are not being polled.

Just like the Kerry Landslide of 2004. I remember President Kerry being sworn in at about 2:00 PM Eastern Time on election day.

Jay Severin has been putting his reputation on the line as a professional political pundit by saying every indicator has Obama winning for the last several weeks.

Severin was also snookered in 2004 by those phone exit polls from Virginia.

They are truly delusional. I was shocked at the round of applause and cheers McCain received at the Alfred E Smith dinner when he said “I think a few of you might be for me”. This was coming from NYC liberals. This is hardly going to be a blowout. And if by chance it is..... it will be because of massive Acorn voter fraud.

I been seeing a lot of blowing lately, most is coming out of Politico’s ass. Do they still have that big banner on their site to visit Obama’s website?
