Pro-Obama Ohio Secretary of State Refuses to Stop Voter Fraud
Canada Free Press ^ | 10-14-08 | Sher Zieve

To be filed under “suspicions confirmed,” patently partisan-for-Obama supporter Democrat Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer “I-never-met-an-ACORN-worker-I-didn’t-like” Brunner has stomped her feet and decided that she should not be required to do her job; that of protecting Ohio voters from election fraud.  She has also decided that she will elicit help from the US Supreme Court in upholding her desire.

It’s possible. Nothing would be beneath him. But I wonder. There are so many phony voter registration forms, they will never be able to go through them, the forms are piled up, the staff say they are swamped. I saw an interview on Australian TV with one of the workers, she said they were allowing them to just pile up...and only dealing with those that could be verified - she showed a heap of 17 or so that all bore the same signature and explained that such evidently worthless paper would be ignored.

(I haven’t put that well, but I hope you get my drift.)

So how would all of those phony registrations ever end up as an actual vote? I have to ask, because I our system is different. Can you tell me? It just doesn’t make sense.

If the piles of phony registration forms are never counted or listed, if they are just so much paper, won’t they simply be thrown out?

The left will claim disenfranchisement and racism. The scam is to purposely overload the system so all registrations cannot be checked. If some registrations receive more scrutiny than others, they will claim a violation of equal protection. The resulting conclusion, if there is not enough time or resources to check all the new registrations then all of them will go unchecked.

It's a beautiful scam except they will have to live with a very unruly populous (myself included).

Sadly,I think the only time there will be armed citizens in the street is when “Dancing With The Stars’ and the Superbowl are declared illegal programming.

Each state has its own registration/voting laws. It’s very complicated. Florida, back in 2000, was a complete mess. Dimpled chads were formed by punching multiple ballots at once. Gore sued to have the dimpled chads counted. That’s one example. Paper ballots are highly vulnarble to fraud. In SanFransisco, they noticed wet ballots. It was raining outside. Someone had carried ballots through the rain.

Electronic voting machines are being used in many states, but if BO is in charge, what kind of electronic voting will we have then?

FRiend, this election is a must-win. But like I said before, the good news is that God will win in the end.

[And Gallop has McCain within two percent — for those who need to find tangible hope.]

That is more than sad, but I have not yet had enough coffee to come up with a more appropiate term. This entire farce, aka the election, has been a nightmare to watch.

Senator George Allen lost his seat because of those damnable things which 75% of VA uses to vote. If you have nothing to recount there is nothing left except to surrender.

It’s fine and dandy to have electronic voting machines when you trust the executive branch. But what about an ACORN cheater like Obama? What will his administration due to ‘fight’ voter fraud?

We may all (all of us that are anti-Marxist/communist) have to become part of a militia some day soon. If the Zeros manage to succeed in this coup ala George Soros and other shadow entities.

I’m going to start attending the gun range every weekend.....just in case.

Many, even most, of the false registrations are at least plausible on their face: not multiple identical names, not celebrities from other states or cartoon characters, with addresses on streets that actually exist. On election day, operatives go to all these polls and vote in the names of dozens and dozens of planted registrations. The biggest battle has been over being able to demand ID to vote, which is a moronic thing to have to fight for. Every time I go to the polls, I show my license. When they tell me it isn’t necessary because they don’t check ID, I ask them what they will do the day I come in to vote and they tell me I’ve already voted, and my most essential civil right has been violated. They don’t know what to say.

-- It is going to the Supreme Court - but since they are not in session it goes to one Justice who is "on call." --

The Ohio Secretary of State filed a motion to stay the lower court's TRO on Wednesday (HowAppealing blurb with link to application for a stay). SCOTUS has been in session for a couple of weeks now, but that distinction isn't relevant for purposes of entertaining a Motion to review a TRO. "In" and "Out" of session pertains to the calendar for disposing of Petitions for a Writ of Certiorari.

Rule 23. Stays

1. A stay may be granted by a Justice as permitted by law.

2. A party to a judgment sought to be reviewed may present to a Justice an application to stay the enforcement of that judgment. See 28 U. S. C. § 2101(f).

3. An application for a stay shall set out with particularity why the relief sought is not available from any other court or judge. Except in the most extraordinary circumstances, an application for a stay will not be entertained unless the relief requested was first sought in the appropriate court or courts below or from a judge or judges thereof. An application for a stay shall identify the judgment sought to be reviewed and have appended thereto a copy of the order and opinion, if any, and a copy of the order, if any, of the court or judge below denying the relief sought, and shall set out specific reasons why a stay is justified. The form and content of an application for a stay are governed by Rules 22 and 33.2.

” Shaking my head...unbelievable...looking out the window for the armed citizens storming into the streets...looking...looking...looking...looking... “

They’re all looking out their windows.

Act. Not with arms, but vocally, and not to each other, but to the sheep who follow the only voices they hear: the MSM. These battles are won in the kitchens and dining rooms, coffee shops, water coolers, barber shops, baseball (I-can’t-beLIEVE-I-turned-the-Red-Sox-off-in-the-seventh-last-night-bang-my-head-against-the-wall) games, and beauty parlors. With good, logical arguments, one person at a time. And stay at it. We can beat these bastards, but not by looking out the window waiting for someone to get angry.

Act, my friend.

Act.

-- According to her, the Secretary of State of Ohio admitted she disconnected and deleted the links to the Social Security and DMV data bases which is a federal and state law for the Secretary of State to maintain so as to be able to check on voters information as to the correctness of the information. --

She claims her predecessor is the one who disabled the generation of the federally-mandated mismatch report.

She's had years to be in conformity, and chose not to be.

Congress enacted HAVA in 2002 to require, among other things, that States adopt statewide computerized databases containing "the name and registration information of every legally registered voter in the State." 42 U.S.C. 15483(a)(1)(A). The chief state election official must also enter an agreement with the state motor vehicle authority to match information to verify the accuracy of the information provided on applications for voter registration. Id. 15483(a)(5)(B)(i).

To comply with HAVA, the Ohio Secretary of State implemented a system of interfacing computer databases that allows Ohio election officials to verify voter registration rolls. In June 2006, the then-Secretary programmed the database so that it did not provide notification to counties of certain mismatches. Under the then-Secretary's watch, this database system was used during the 2006 general election in Ohio. The current Secretary inherited that database when she took office in January 2007, and she used the database, unchanged, during the March 2008 presidential primary in Ohio.

It was a sight to behold! Big Poppi's bat came back, maybe only for that one HR, but it was back! The last few games have been like watching a train wreck. I don't like to watch, but I can't help myself. The last three innings last night were at least a passing reward for all the pain.

I know she’s appealed it to the U.S. Supreme Court but I have heard nothing about a stay of the original order.

She is doing what Obama and Gov. Strickland are telling her to do. Disgusting.

Its more than that. She is doing what ACORN and Project Vote told her to do. They even say so on their web site here.

Sorry, someone needs to teach me how to do links.
