One week ago, Joe Wurzelbacher was just another working man living in a modest house outside Toledo, Ohio, and thinking about how to buy the plumbing business where he works. But when he stopped Senator Barack Obama during a visit to his block last weekend to complain about taxes, he set himself on a path to becoming Americas newest media celebrity and as such suddenly found himself facing celebrity-level scrutiny.

Too bad these "Journalists" no longer do ORIGINAL Reporting.
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
Does the MSM realize how bad they look right now???
What am I saying, of course not. The perils of living in an insulated bubble with the sound of the like minded your only companion.

...and today, he is an evil white man we in the MSM must destroy for daring to question our commie candidate.
Money quote at the end...Tap Dance!!! That’s what every normal person heard when the “bracketomama” answered. And the NY times is too stupid to realize that and they give Joe the last word. I am liking Joe the plumber more and more.
They’re shooting at Joe the Plumber but they can’t take back obama’s admitted plans to spread the wealth.
This is chilling, but I think that Joe is up to it, and it is pissing off an awful lot of working class people.
Blue collar fence sitters that might have just gone along with the Obama wave, now have an excuse to take a stand and have a reason to vote against him.
You just named the next line of attack against him.
Plumbing without a license!!!
This whole thing is so absurd. Some random plumber lets his opinions be known and now the DNC is digging up all the dirt it can on this guy. Meanwhile our side is circling the wagons around him (as we should). Kind of ridiculous how this whole thing is panning out.
October surprise has a name... his name is JOE THE PLUMBER.
I am just embarrassed for the media. They are going after a regular citizen because he DARED to ask their annointed one a question, and the ONE got CAUGHT telling the truth.
This is ludicrous.
I hope this has a huge backlash against the MSM aka the DNC
It’s disgusting. The MSM has vetted JTP more then BHO
The left-wing nuts are going to savage this guy. They are such vile animals that they love digging up dirt on anyone they deem as opposing them. I guess it’s easy since they lilve in the trash.
Did the MSM realilze it when they ignored the public and savaged Sarah Palin. Did they stop when american decried the bailout?!
There once was a plumber named Joe
Made Obama look just like a schmoe
Knows his job to a tee
So he flushed him you see
To the place that all Marxists should go
awesome. Does FR still have a best post of the day? (or something like that?)
This has the potential to allow those in "Flyover Country" who may have been ambivalent about the media's agenda to finally see them for what they really are.
An enemy of all this is good about America.
When I was working as a plumber, the only requirement for having a license was that a master could oversee the work of a certain number of journeymen and apprentices.
The new home development in Colorado where I worked, IIRC, had one master for each 10 jouneymen and 10 apprentices.
Of the three brothers who owned the plumbing company, only one was a licensed master plumber. He took care of the time each employee had as an apprentice and as a journeyman and let them know when they had enough experience hours logged to be able to move to the next level or to take the master plumbers' exam.
Furthermore, even if someone is NETTING $250K as a business owner, they are working their butt off to make ends meet.
If they are GROSSING $250K, their spouse is working somewhere else to get benefits for them.
