Conyers unhappy FBI probe of ACORN was leaked
In the latest chapter of the unfolding ACORN saga, House Judiciary Committee John Conyers (D-Mich.) is unhappy that someone leaked word of a preliminary FBI investigaton into the contoversial group's voter registration activities.
The Associated Press reported today that the FBI is looking into whether ACORN has attempted to "foster voter registration fraud around the nation before the presidential election." The AP cited unnamed "senior law enforcement officials" as sources for the story.
Sen. John McCain and GOP leaders have been accusing ACORN (the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) of knowingly submitting false voter registration forms in Nevada, Missouri and half-dozen others states. ACORN says it has signed up 1.3 million new voters this cycle, many of them poor, young or minorities. Sen.Barack Obama has longstanding ties to ACORN, and Republicans believe that the overwhelming number of new voters signed up by the group with support the Democratic presidential hopeful.
Conyers came to the defense of ACORN, which he called"a longstanding and well regarded organization that fights for the poor and working class," and he criticized the Justice Department for leaking this story so close to an election.

My husband says last week... Monica Conyers tried to use a staff member as a slave...Had her doing house work, running errands all kinds of stuff that did not relate to being office staff..She sued and Conyers settled for ninety thousand dollars. Monica sumitted it to the city concil and they agreed to pay it for her.
What in the heck is wrong with the FBI? Don’t they know that Democrats and their ilk aren’t supposed to be investigated?
Naturally it was “ok” for the investigation of ‘troopergate’ vs Palin to become major news and release a partisan finding. To investigate an organization, however, that has complaints in over a dozen states for voter fraud is “bad”. Got it.

When the FBI raids ACORN offices in 11 states, would you think that they are investigating ACORN? In fact, one might guess they even had warrants.
They are Democrats.. The one's white folk just like to pick on...

Yeah, such a well regarded organization that has sought to disenfranchise my vote, and the votes of thousands of other honest citizens for years. These people have been stealing elections for much longer than people might think.
Somewhere along the line they got the impression that it’s their birthright to cheat, get away with murder, go to the head of the class, etc. WTF?
