Call this a concerted effort by the media to assassinate the character of an ordinary guy for calling out a liberal politician for wanting to raise taxes.
Journalists covering Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama, Ill., havent asked tough questions about his tax proposals specifically who will see their taxes increase, decrease or stay the same.
So Joe the Plumber did it for them. Samuel J. Wurzelbacher, known as Joe the Plumber, was mentioned many times during the Oct. 15 presidential debate because he confronted Obama on taxes while the candidate was canvassing neighborhoods in Toledo, Ohio on Oct. 12. But instead of scrutinizing Obamas tax plan, the media set their sights on Wurzelbacher.

Straight out of Rules for Radicals:
“RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (This is cruel, but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.)”
It wasn’t Joe’s comments that made the news, it was Obama’s frightening answer.
BTTT
Too late the cat is outta the bag AND the mediaPUKES let Joe the Plumber have a news conference all by himself!! Checkmate!!
Joe the plumber exposed where Osama will be choking the American people when it comes to taxes.
The whole example of how this will impede the idea of expanding his companay has made people think and understand.
This couldn’t come at a better time.
Joe reminds of that bald guy from the shield. I think he’ll hold up just fine.
UGH! NBC with Brian Williams just did a story on Joe the Plumber; showed up at his; pointed out he wasn’t licensed, blah, blah. When are they going to show up on Bill Ayers doorstep? Yeah, right.
Ignore Obamas crappy tax plan and attack the average Joe. Thats a real winner.
Bingo ... The answer needs the focus not Joe, he just provoked the answer.
Umm.. this is Ohio. There is currently no such thing as an ineligible voter!
Maybe if they spent this much time investigating Obama, Hillary would in his place.
Or one that says:
Down with Big Plumbing!
God idea. We should be doing it.
What Alinksy forgot to add is, ‘Be sure you have all of academia, all of the media and every Democrat-controlled big city hellhole on your side’.
They’ve looked into his education, his training, his license status, his union non-affiliation, his tax records and his voting habits...all in one day. Who says the media can’t do their job? Now if they would only turn such scrupulous attention toward That One.
Urk. I meant good idea. Sorry, God, this is Squarebarb messing up again.
If I were in the McCain campaign (and fortunately / unfortunately I am not) — I would wait for this to snowball.
Then, send my surrogates out to every news show for an interview where I use the talking point:
“You folks are quick to jump into the life of an Average Joe who questions Barack Obama, but you willfully ignore all of Obama’s radical friends! What’s your agenda?”
You did this to Sarah Palin’s family, which crossed the line. But now you have BUTCHERED the line by going after a private citizen whose only crime was to ask a tough question of Obama.
Now that we have gone through this man’s divorce records, when will you go through Obama’s radical friends?
