This poll was taken before the debate! The negative ads are starting to work although the talking Democratic heads were saying they were not working. We Know better!

Yes. There were a couple of places where McCain could have done even better, but it was obvious to me last night that McCain won the debate.
A couple of time Obama’s lies seemed to be getting some traction, but McCain shot him down almost every time.
And you’d have to be a lunatic (which maybe a third of the electorate unfortunately are) to like Obama’s smarmy, self-satisfied, narcissistic smile.
TRUE STORY:
My 7-year-old has come home from school every day for the past month talking about Obama and how “he rules” and “is the greatest” and “the best guy ever” and - gasp! - that Obama is like “daddy” (my husband looks nothing like Obama, but I think that my son would like to replace his father with Barack.) He says he hears things about Obama from the kids in the playground.
The indoctrination has commenced. I’m going to die now. Sigh.
