Joe the Plumber said Thursday he doesn't have a license and doesn't need one. Joe Wurzelbacher, better known as Joe the Plumber, the nickname Republican John McCain bestowed on him during Wednesday's presidential debate, said he works for a small plumbing company that does residential work. Because he works for someone else, he doesn't need a license, he said.

“Typical Obama...no one is too small to be offed if perceived as a threat.”
We are all Joe the Plumbers now : |
They are out to destroy the poor man because he isn’t a filthy corrupt democrat like Obama/Rezko.
Great Point! lol
I see where you are going. However, when you say “Call a plumber” you aren’t going to call someone who works for a plumber, it refers to a plumbing contractor. Plumbing contractors need to be licensed. Guys who work for plumbing contractors (apprentices and journeymen) don’t necessarily need to be licensed, you’re correct. Technically, however, journeymen and apprentice plumbers aren’t yet “plumbers”. It’s a technicality, i know.
So, in California, and any state that I’ve dealt with, plumbers (plumbing contractors) do need to be licensed.
Too bad Joe isn’t a former bombing murdering terrorsist, then he could hire Obama and they could dole out millions together.
Hello! I heard his phone number is on Huffington Post. We need to get this to him! He is going on Hucklebee I think.
So you are a licensed plumber in california. Thank you.
Plumbers also lay gas lines. An incompetently installed gas line might blow up your house and kill everyone inside. Plus, you want to be sure that the guy knows enough to not use toxic sealing materials on water pipes that bring in drinking water.
Go google any of the news stories on Joe and read the comments. Everything centers around What or Whom Joe is and have NOTHING to do with the entire point of why we know who Joe is - he made Obama reveal his Marxist beliefs, hook line and sinker.
Sorry, got mixed up in the quoting. Everyone quotes others differently and sometimes it becomes confusing. Please forgive.
Look up Chester Davenport to see how beneficial just having the right “credentials” are.
His hiring by Envirotest led to a minority set-aside position that was leveraged into the largest emissions testing firm in the U.S.
You see, Chester was black at the time.
He has now morphed into a real position at Ameritech - see Black Enterprise in Business.
Ya know, with 'John' as in toilet, and "Seewer" as in being really close to "sewer", it's almost too convenient to have him penning stories on the plumbing beat, isn't it...
I sure as heck don’t ask my plumber for his licence when he walks in the door. He had been here three times and does good work! I bet he is smart enough to vote for McCain too.
I think I saw his cousin, Frank the Plumber, in the grocery store today. He apparently forgot his belt because I (and everybody else in the store) could see his big smilin' butt clearly. It was very funny, and many of us ordinary shoppers had bit of a smirk on our faces. While I'd expect this out of a youngster, this guy was around 50 years old. I wonder if he knew he was showing off...

That is a bunch of jibberish, plumbers are the guys that work as plumbers at plumbing businesses or that make their living as plumbers.
If you start a business then you need a C36, unless you keep it below $500.00 per job, then you don’t need a license at all.
No, not jibberish, that’s the way it is.
You claimed plumbers dont’ need to be licensed in california. That’s just not a factual statement. If you had said people working as plumbers for a licensed contractor don’t need a license, i’d wholeheartedly agree, but they statement you made, as you phrased it, was wrong.
More importantly, does Joe the plumber, the topic of the thread, need a license as the MSM is trying to make it sound he does, to work for his boss? NO! Not by ohio law.
At 50 and above they don’t even know how to find their fannies, let alone whether they are showing them off!!!
hehehehehe
Sorry. But there are a lot of people who are honestly confused by the Ohio law. Including, it would seem, most of the media -- who are congenitally incapable of performing elementary research.
So, we all chip in 5 bucks for the owner’s license? We can’t let Obama destroy him.
