African Press International recently reported that Michelle Obama had apparently had enough of their news organization's political coverage and called them up directly to demand their black allegiance.
THIS post provides a follow up.
API responds today:
1. API had a telephone call from Mrs Obama after consultations with Nairobi. We will avail all the details and what transpired so that all interested parties may understand that the story is not fake.
2. API has no interest in the outcome of the US elections and we do not partner with any group in the promotion of any candidate for the presidency.
3. Our recordings will be released when we are satisfied it is not intended to be misused in any way or for any gains by an group.
Although we are not hiding anything, we would like to release all the information in the right way in order to avoid misunderstandings that may put us into problems with the Obamas. We do not want to land into legal disputes with anyone.
The timing of the interview should not be faulted on us. It was Mrs Obama who contacted us after someone took the initiative from Nairobi to connect API and her.
API requests all readers to be patient. They will get all the facts very soon, now that we have realised the importance of the story to them.

Where can I hear the recording?
The tape has been brought out? So, where is it?
On Coast To Coast AM or Alex Jones webcast?
Once you agree to send $100,000 to one of the Princes of Nigeria, then all channels will be open and more information will follow.
< /SARCASM ! >
And there is a rich prince in Nigeria who wants to send me $30 million if I give him my bank details.....
The story truly makes no sense, because IF the underlying facts were true it would be a deep secret, not something M Obama would pick up a phone and shout to some news agency.
IF it’s true I can only gather they are saying they won’t release it until after the election. They may have a recording but what is the reliability of a phone call patched from somewhere through Nairobi, to a foreign news agency? Could have been anyone calling them.
I guess that will be November 5th then.

I’m convinced API is playing us.
I don’t want to hear one more word about this unless there is a public link to hear the alleged tape. What’s the point of repeating the same old BS?
The best I can say is to keep an eye out on their website. You can get to that from the thread link.
I do not have personal knowledge but was simply monitoring their earlier story which, by the way, had plenty of traffic here on FR a couple of days ago.
I made an effort to go back to the website and saw their follow up.
ROFL
I still want to believe it.
I still don’t believe it.
I think this whole thing is being put out as a distraction by the Obama campaign. The Ayers and Acorn coverage has hurt him and this is bait to take the focus off that.
See post 13.
I am only following up on a story that had plenty of traffic here on FR a couple of days ago.
I have no personal knowledge. I took the initiative to follow up for the FR people like myself who read this earlier here and might want to know what is going on at this point.
#s 2 and 3 contradict each other...
I think API is enjoying being in the US spotlight and wants to keep it going as long as possible. I am getting very skeptical about this story.
