Rush is LIVID! and rightly so. He is slaming commentators for last nights shameful portrayal of John McCains debate.
Rush said that McCain delivered everything that "they" wanted, yet they turn on him.

I didn’t watch the whole debate, but I thought McCain punched Obama and got under his skin. And then I watched the post-debate-mortem on Fox and thought “what, are you serious?”
I agree. Somehow FoxNews panel got Obamanzied. I can understand Juan Williams voice for the dims. But the rest — including Krauthammer were ridiculous.
if he means right after the debate, it was Fred barnes, Kristol, and some gal from Atlantic. And of course the irreplaceable Brit Hume.
And I agree. I came off the debate feeling GREAT — until these guys started talking. What? Had they seen the same debate?
Fox are phonies and I think have turned. Rush will never let us down. Rush is also not a mouthpiece for the GOP. He calls em how he sees him.
I totally agree with Rush. Those guys were all a disgrace. I also let Fox News know that this morning.

Rush speaks for me, not Joe the plumber, but me the American Fox watching citizen. I too was LIVID at how the Fox group acted. NOT much positive they could say...heck they were kinder and more accurate over at CNN...and if they don’t watch it...CNN just might get their viewers!!!! It was a shame.....and it was down right wrong!!!
BTW, Greta interviewed to college kids. Both said they though McCain had the better responses and won the debate.

for all the good it will do. Maybe if others expressed our dismay and disappointment at the quality of the post-debate comments (Kristol and Barnes in particular, Nina Easton at least tried but got steamrolled) - it might make an impact.
I told them it was becoming hard to distinguist Fox News from MSNBC. Maybe a little over the top but it ought to leave a mark!
All of the Fox analysts last night were wretched .. Brit seemed unhappy with responses he was getting, and Nina Easton tried to throw out a few positive comments, but overall it was difficult to read. However, starting with the 2004 GOP convention, I found the Fox panel to be terrible, so this is nothing new.
Krauthammer is a particular disappointment. He so dislikes Sarah Palin as the VP choice that he can’t see anything positive about McCain these days.

Its actually funny watching the debate aftermath on Fox. after the first one Kirstol said McCain won and won big, and the liberal babe also said that McCain won. But since then they have been trashing McCain. They weren’t exactly thrilled with Palin either. The last two presidential debates, they wanted some huge “knockout punch” from McCain. Of course that almost never happens, so they decided that McCain lost.
FNC was idiotic last night.
