I just watched him get interviewed and Diane tried to do what she tries to do (talk down to you so sweetly). But Joe was not having it, he politely articulated that Obama wants to spread the wealth, which is socialism. Good Job Joe!
Youtube of Diane Sawyer and Joe the Plumber
He can’t ignore his customers.

Let’s see....Should I spend the next three weeks helping save the republic from a communist madman or sweat copper for a new shower?
I agree. McCain should use Joe only as sound bites and spread-the-wealth video snippets but not as a live active campaign prop. That taints Joe and renders his story less effective, imho.
How about a line of attack that continually repeats “spread the wealth”. We’ll make Obama’s new catch phrase “Spread the wealth”
Go Joe!
The McCain camp should have him in about a dozen commercials in the battleground states,
I caught the end of an interview he did with Todd Schnitt out of Tampa yesterday. You may get your wish as he has been contacted by McCain’s campaign - but he didn’t want to say exactly what was discussed.
All I can say is that Joe the Plumber is a gift from above for bringing the tax plan of Obama to the reality of everday Americans.
Same argument for Palin -
should she be home taking care of her family,
or saving millions of families from the oppression of secular socialism?
A whole host of frightful Republican senators could lose on Nov. 4: Dole, McC, Coleman, G. Smith, many others. Cornyn may survive and maybe even old Stevens.
All tv stations, local or not, are owned by huge media corporations and the talking points are handed down from the top.
Most Americans have never heard of Che Guevara, and only a few still remember the named Teddy Roosevelt. But they now recognize “The Master of Chicago” who has come on his horse to “save them”.
Joe’s immune because he is a plumber. 3 rules from a common sense middle American: Hot on the left, cold on the right, and crap don’t run uphill. Call it tradition and laws of nature, something The Left seethes to always change/mis-interpret.
Actually, the Cornyn commercials are nothing-burgers. He could lose too.
She actually asked him if he was a "plant" by the McCain campaign! She asked him if he had been contacted by the McCain campaign before meeting Obama last weekend!!!! You could tell she was incredulous that an everyday American didn't like the idea of socialism (Joes words, not mine).
She at the end tried to get him to say that he wouldn't be working today, instead he would be a political tool. He shot back with the list of jobs he did yesterday, and that he had planned for today. (including fixing a water main break), she really tried to get him to come off as a political hack, but instead he sounded like the hard working American he is!
Joe is my new hero!
He will save us all.
No, we will save ourselves by making sure we go to the polls and vote on November 4th.
Sooo, how exactly, does Obambi describe “small business”? That’s one of the question he should be asked and pounded on for details.
Hey illiterate, what the hell is B*****?
He has said that not many small business have revenues over 250K. According to the SBA, in construction for instance, can qualify as a small business with revenues of up to 33M. So is he talking profit or revenue??
My husband worked with Katie Couric back when she was at a local TV station in Miami. They’re all just hoping to work their way up to the big network. He also worked with, and is still friends with the original executive producer of American Idol ~ *Believe me* when I say, they look down at us little people.
That’s a lot of data.
What we need is a breakdown like this:
According to the SBA’s definitions, what percentage of US businesses qualify as a “small business”?
THen-—what percentage of THOSE small businesses have net profits OVER $250,000?
THOSE are the companies that would take it in the shorts in an Obama Administration.
THAT is what needs to be shouted from the rooftops.
