Diane Sawyer Just Got B***** by Joe the Plumber (Vanity)

I just watched him get interviewed and Diane tried to do what she tries to do (talk down to you so sweetly). But Joe was not having it, he politely articulated that Obama wants to spread the wealth, which is socialism. Good Job Joe!

yeah, but coming from someone who was just exposed for never having visited them - it rang hollow.

And considering his goof-up w/ the Canadians -he looks inexperienced.

Agreed.
That would be better than the Kerry windsurfing commercial.

“It is called mass hypnosis, it has gone beyond political propaganda.”

That’s another reason why I love Joe the plumber.

I forgot who asked him if he was dazzled by Obama’s presence - by being next to such a celebrity, but Joe’s response was that he didn’t perceive much of a presence there.
He didn’t think much of Obama.

He appears to be immune to the hypnosis.

Obama said “spread the wealth” to Joe’s face.

Now Obama and his spinners want to lie and claim Obama said something else or change the subject.

Obama said “spread the wealth” as in Karl Marx.

Don’t let Obama and his people lie their way out of it.

I disagree slightly. IMO, McCain left himself stuck on third WRT Joe the Plumber. He failed to make the point that 0 is an adherent of wealth distribution which is solialism/Marxism.

He almost got there, but stopped just short of it.

About 40% of the American people pay no income taxes directly. Many of those have payroll taxes, but in April, they file their 1040s and then get back all of the income taxes payroll took out.

So, they are already getting a check from Treasury. If the check were larger in 2009 or 2010, they will be happy, and never think about the wealth transfer, only that Treasury gave them a larger check. Then, 0 will be their hero.

McCain needs to explain, in clear terms, why that is A Bad Thing. Most of that 40% don’t know why it is A Bad Thing.

Our mere veep candidate Palin has been to Mexico AND has met with President Uribe of Colombia.

I wonder if it would be better if McCain’s people stayed the heck away from Joe.

Joe’s doing absolutely fine on his own, and right now he can claim his not being influenced by either campaign.

That is not embarrassing, Joe the Plumber, is actually Joe the American.

I actually told my sister (the political neophyte) about Joe the Plumber, and how Obama actually told him that he would "spread the wealth". This was before last nights debate, and she was appalled! She said that she did not want Obama "spreading her wealth", and she could do that just fine on her own!

She truly was one of the undecideds leaning toward Obama (she liked how he spoke). She is now voting for McCain!

WE ALL MUST DO THE FOLLOWING TO AT LEAST 2 DIFFERENT PEOPLE A DAY BETWEEN NOW AND THE ELECTION:

Ask a person who’s considering voting for Obama to pick up a copy of the Yellow Pages. How many of those businesses do they think make over 250K? How many people in the area work for all those companies together? Restaurants, Plumbers, Paving companies, Hardware stores, everything. How many family members depend on those incomes? If Obama gets to raise taxes on all those businesses, will they be able to hire more workers, or fewer workers? Don’t forget the punchline:If they decide to stay in business, where will they get the money to pay the increase in taxes? That’s right—Raise their prices. So make sure they understand that when Barrack Hussein Obama tells them that he will give “THOSE PEOPLE’S” money to us if we will give power to him, what he means is that he will put millions of our friends and relatives on the unemployment lines, and raise the prices of every good and service we use. How ya doin’ for the little guy, Barry?

Obama is the American Chavez, make no mistake.

That should be broadcast in Spanish especially to resonate with Hispanic voters and it will.

I believe Joe the Plumber is perfect as an ear worm. If he speaks out too often, he runs the risk of becoming a Sheehan or 9/11 widow. Well placed quotes will be worth their weight in gold.

This race is truly not about Obama, taxes or the economy. It's about the Beltway vs the Brown Baggers. That is why you have the Conservative punditry, Will, Krauthammer, Barnes, Kristol, et al, coming out against Palin and no more maverick McCain.

If we ever expect to get our country back, it starts by taking the Washington class out to fields.

If McCain were wrong on that the MSM would already have nailed him on it.
So it appears that Obama has not been there.
Palin has.

Joe the Plumber is an international story with legs of its own. It's THE topic the day after the debate. I think people will get the basic idea. I understand your criticism, but you could argue the same about a lot of things. McCain said at one point "I'm a federalist." How many Americans do you think have any clue what that means? But there's no time to take people to school in a debate.

As far as the people who don't pay taxes, I think they're too stupid to even figure out they aren't paying. They see it withdrawn from their check. They "hope" to get a refund every year. You think they crunch the numbers? I don't. Anyway, we are still an aspirational society. Joe the Plumber represents all Americans ask for. The freedom to work hard and keep the rewards. He's going to resonate big time.

They could just have various business owners doing commercials just telling how Obama’s business tax increases will affect them, their employees and their customers.

"Joe the plumber" is not the big "fat cat" wall street guy the libs always tell us they are going after. He is our brother, father , son neighbor etc. Obama admitted last night he will tax us all to death.

The MSM will make fun of Joe, but I think they do it at their own peril.

Joe says he just wants to own his home, raise his family, have a bass boat, and live his life. That’s his American Dream.

The 0bama cult has no intention of letting anyone live such a life:

“Barack Obama will require you to work. He is going to demand that you shed your cynicism. That you put down your divisions. That you come out of your isolation, that you move out of your comfort zones. That you push yourselves to be better. And that you engage. Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual, uninvolved, uninformed.”
