Frankly I am really disgusted with the horrible analysis by the Fox News "round table" of pundits.
1. They set McCain up before he ever debates by assuming that he is down by some large amount, which isn't true in all of the polls. So therefore he needs a "knockout", which who the heck knows what that is.
2. If these idiots were actually truly following this race and providing good analysis they should have said that while McCain did not score a "knockout" he should have both pleased his base and possibly opened some new attack fronts with the 'Joe the Plumber' discussion and abortion.
I am pretty much at the us against the world stage now to do whatever it takes to keep Obama from taking the reins of power.
Barnes and Kristol just sealed their invites to the next Georgetown cocktail party.
Krauthammer is just too filled with hate for Palin to support Mccain anymore.

I hate to break it to you, but all MSM post-debate analysis sucks. They should just do away with the debates, periods. Liberal moderators, liberal analysis.

I went there fresh off the live thread here where everyone was having a great time and felt McCain had whupped Obama up and down.
And Brit seemed completely out of it. Then Bill and Fred were awful. What debate were they watching? The entire panel was sickening in their rush to jump on the “me, too” wagon of the MSM. I wanted to stick around to hear Krauthammer or Morris or someone who wasn’t braindead tonight, but I couldn’t do it.

The coverage was awful and the analysis was worse. And not just because I didn’t agree with it. It actually made it seem as if they had slept through the debate.
I don’t know whether McCain performance will help him among independents, but I think that we need a big conservative turnout and more effort to prevent voter frauds (Acorn). We also need our soldiers to vote for McCain: there are thousands of absentee votes at risk!

I also hate how they say Elizabeth Dole’s seat is basically lost.
Every poll I see shows it as close. What is this Beltway RINO defeatism?
