Vanity: What's up with Fox?
Fox

Posted on 10/15/2008 7:58:29 PM PDT by Chet 99

After the debate was over, the "conservative" pundits immediately trashed McCain. This was followed by Frank Luntz, who declared that is focus group idiots loved Obama (of course Luntz also said Palin was the knockout debate winner and McCain would surge in the polls after her debate).

This is supposed to be the conservative network? I switched over to PBS, and Clarence Page was giving more credit to McCain's performance than the Fox pundits. Same on CNN.

I have been *highly* critical of McCain in the other debates. So for me to say that McCain won this probably means quite a few Americans feel the same way. I don’t need the bozos to tell me who did better tonight.

Major Garrett didn’t report from the Obama campaign just now, it was like he just jumped off obama’s lap to defend his master! Incredible he was spinning faster than begala.

Now they are all dumping on McCain, especially Bill Kristol. Absolutely disgusting.

These smug republicans and Fox news are trying to save their asses during an Obama administration.

I have had it with Fox. Hannity is the only good thing. “Fair and Balanced” has turned into “Spin and Lie.”

Bam Bam complained AGAIN about Fox News today.

I guess they were intimidated?

I'm boycotting them and letting them know why.

I hate to disagree with you all, but here's my take.

The Fox pundits knew that McCain needed a knock-out blow. He needed to really hit Obama and portray him as an untrustworthy socialist.

He just couldn't do it. He's spent most of his life running against us, his own party. He just doesn't know how to run against a liberal, he's spent his life kissing their...well, ya know. Hence, the Fox pundits are disappointed.

Page and CNN and all the others can be generous to him, now, since they know he blew his last chance.

Take, for example, the abortion debate. McCain did fine, as far as he went, but he didn't seal the deal by stressing Obama's support for the Freedom of Choice Act -the first piece of legislation Obama will sign into law which will give us the most radical abortion laws in the world.

McCain just doesn't have it in him to actually criticize a Democrat.

I still hope and pray that he wins, but with each passing day its becoming difficult to see just how that will happen

Flame away!

“How the hell could anyone be “undecided” in this election?”

It’s easy to understand when you realize that the most difficult decision these people make is the choice between Bud or Bud Lite. What scares me is that their wives make most of the decisions for them.

CBS just puked out a poll declaring Obama was the big winner... by a bigger margin than the first two debates.

I hope Rush blasts them tomorrow.
Rush and Drudge have more power than Fox and I know Drudge and Savage hate Murdoch.

Maybe they want to give Barack a little “Thank you” for buying 30 minutes of air time?

I wish they'd drop Charlie Krauthammer (or however the hell you spell it). He's stiff, monotone, looks like he got a corn cob up his, well you know.

The guy really needs to retire. AT least get him off the air.

Wait, I thought that when asked only four people said they now suport Obama out of that group.

That means the vast majority were NOT swayed by the "Chicken in every Pot" candidate.

I also think the "I don't trust him" comment was very instructive.

Agreed-not a big McCain political fan (although he is obviously a hero.)I'm voting against Obama no matter what. That being said, I call them as I see them. I remember watching the first Bush-Kerry debate in Key West and having my vacation ruined.

Mccain kicked Obama's ass tonight. Period.

This election is for me really about how out of touch the media establishment truly is.
