Why do you assume that anyone must watch TV news?

I’m better informed than probably 99% of people who watch network news (of whatever letters) and I virtually never watch any TV news. Haven’t watched much of any TV news in 30 years, except on rare instances where there is some value in seeing live footage of a truly historic event.

[no, it would not be much of a loss if all TV news went away, but it won’t - there will always be some market for it, even if not as lucrative as in the past]

I get my info overwhelmingly from numerous online sites — before the web I read many more magazines of various outlooks. There is little real content to any TV news or commentary shows — just a lot of blather and talking points.

According to Wikipedia he's pro-abortion and pro-embryonic stem-cell research. He believes that embryos at fertility clinics should be used, and he believes federal money should fund it. Wikipedia has footnoted articles on his positions.

The big finish for me was the stunning hypothesis that Obama snickering and giggling at McCain’s responses would help make voters more comfortable with him and be taken as a sign of confidence.

if that's how the majority of voters think, we are in very deep doo-doo, in more ways than one. i thought his facial expressions were disgusting, and i have sat through many jury trials, and jury selection seminars that discussed these types of non-verbal behaviors. Then again, i have seen many witnesses lie on the witness stand and dumb jurors believed them.

I was attacking someone who was putting down how Mc Cain did in the debate. Are you drunk or just crazy? My daughter made 400 phone calls for McCain Palin so we could attend the rally in Carson, California. What is wrong with you??? We are scheduled to to get out the vote phone banking next week.
