It doesn't take any research. Just go by the equivalent definition, and leave out the Asperger's or other spectrum diagnoses, and you still have dramatically increasing numbers.
And as I pointed out, direct longitudinal observation by professionals confirms this. I have spoken with such professionals myself, so there's convincing professional anecdotal evidence, perhaps even formal clinical research.
There's a lot of good and bad research on autism, but I'm sure you can go through it to see if it can provide support to your assertion. Burden of proof is on you--who made the initial claim.

It's true. He's pro-abortion and embryonic stem-cell research, yet he's against the death penalty. He's a liberal on domestic issues.

That was a bridge too far as far as I was concerned. I guess he felt he had to do it but I wish he had not.
At the very least he could have pointed out (more strongly) that the economic crisis has been building for decades.

Dick Morris making good sense - Joe the Plumber, tax increases. Acknowledges that the Luntz group cant be disregarded but this isnt over. Thinks McCain was fabulous tonight. Tonight was not a game changer but lays the basis for a McCain victory. Tax issue is very big!!!
Thank goodness for Joe the Plumber. It allowed McCain to talk in length about how increasing taxes on small businesses will effect everyone else. The message is still a little scattershot but it is a start.
To: antceecee
We are a family of small business owners as well. Obama will break small businesses and it is obvious he nor anyone on the FOX panel have ever been involved in running one. If they had they would understand the value in the words of John McCain tonight not just on taxes, but on healthcare also.
Keep the faith. You are correct that small business owners see through the junk Obama is putting out there.

"The Kraut used to be a liberal."
He supports abortion, embryonic stem-cell research, and is against the death penalty. Sounds like he's still liberal to me.

Krauthammer: It was a dead draw which means Obama won resoundingly. That's when I finally turned it off. The debates are the first time I have watched FNC in years, literally.
I guess I haven't missed much.

it probably wouldnt have changed a whole lot if Obama won either. I have to disagree. If McCain came out anything less than the fighter that he was and lost tonight then I would say (and honestly so) that McCain/Palin would probably lose on Nov. 4th.
Given the fact that McCain showed life and a willingness to MIX IT UP with Nobama shows me that he is energized and has not thrown in the towel.
Now, I am what you would call "Joe Six Pack" and if I can see this and get emotional about how well McCain did tonight (I have not been his biggest fan), then it means that he connected positively with me tonight.
Now, if he accomplished this with me, then he also reached a TON of others that were paying attention tonight.
So a Nobama win tonight would have meant certain doom for McCain/Palin.

Autism is indeed a real issue. It is an x-linked genetic disorder. What triggers it is what remains to be discovered.
To: robomatik
Hmm. It’s a strategy I suppose. But not a winning one.
