Now, somebody kick the RNC in the rear end—every Republican in Congress needs to be on TV helping McCain.

If they said that on FOX, it’s a shame I didn’t get to hear them. I turned FOX off about a half an hour ago. Too bad for them that fewer will get to hear them after this.
Most of the polls (especially the ones with wide margins) have oversampled Dems by as much as 5 to 10%. They’re a joke.

Something wrong with Brit. He tends to babble and studder. Also, he really treats women like dirt. I marvel at how he talks down to Mara Liasson and cuts her off. He’s got problems.
Undecideds don’t know which ones are the lies. Obama talked really fast when he was lying and he denied being in Ayers’ living room. That was another lie. It was a disgusting debate. I didn’t follow this thread and watch. I just watched. I can’t stand Barack Obama so of course I feel ill at this point. He’s a disgusting person, an artful dodger with NO EXPERIENCE except as a socialist puppet.
I couldn’t even get connected to free republic for the WHOLE time the debate went on!

You are right. These people on TV are looking for style. That’s all they care about.
Palin got good marks from them on style. I was one of the few on here who said I didn’t think she did all that well on substance. The substance reasonates better. We did not get a boost from Palin’s performance.
McCain CRUSHED Obama on substance all night! These commentators don’t care about substance! McCain had the one-line zingers that hit hard while Obama sat there playing defense.
We will see an effect from the polls from this one, I’m convinced.

A bar that is close but a block away from me is full to capacity and the noise has been steady all night. It would seem others bars in the region are also packed.
Fox is still the only palatable thing on the air for conservatives to turn to. there are still alot of good people on that station.
i believe that the more conservative personalities have been very frustrated with the republican campaign this year and are very discouraged and are throwing in the towel.
