California Needs Help!!!
If you say so.
Here’s an article from 1996. It references the count as of the 14th of November. The spread at that point was 765 votes out of 92,629. With several thousand more ballots to count, and with the count as close as it was, those ballots broke out with a 200 count spread, giving Sanchez a roughly 950 vote victory, as you stated.
92,629 votes, a 765 vote spread
a few thousand votes, a 200 vote spread
It just seemed to stink to high heavens to me.
I thought there should have been a special election held.
You are technically correct about the 950 apx. point spread as the final count. I am sorry for giving you grief over it.
