California Needs Help!!!
Yes, CA needs all the help it can get. Unfortunately, you guys have screwed the rest of the nation over too many times for the rest of us to get worked up about. Nevertheless, good luck.
You are right. We unleashed Arnold (the real girlie man) on the rest of society.. What we need is a good dose of Gray Davis, who was cheaper.
Wrong answer PA,
WE didn’t do this, THEY did it to us!
You’re state may be next!
California is home to FR and the largest contingent of FReepers in America. Don’t make the mistake of counting us out just yet.
I think Prop 8 is going to pass. I know the MSM tried to make it look as if people were growing more accepting of gay marriage but apparently that is not true.
And remember that many people will not declare they are for it for fear of being labeled a homophobe or the likes.
I have seen very few “No on 8” bumper stickers, but many “Yes 0n 8”. I’m in the north San Diego area and it’s fairly conservative, but it is still encouraging.
Amen! We don’t need help. We need turnout!
This one propositition should be more than enough to pull every conservative voter out of the woodwork to help get it passed!
I’m worried for my country!
Watch the video yet?
Probably not!
Arnold, Hollywood, Gavin Newsome, Global Warming alarmism; poltical correctness, ‘human rights’ commissions, illegal alien coddling, etc. After they f***d it up, they started moving to places like Montana, Wash, Or, etc.
I am counting on that and praying.
Like I said, good luck. You’ll need it to overcome the kinda fraud that defeated B1 Bob Dornan and gave the world the dingbat Sanchez.
Latest polls say it will pass and that’s why gay couples are flocking to tie the knot now before it’s too late. They already have domestic partnerships in CA family law with all the rights and privileges of marriage.
Anyway, looks good for Prop 8 (marriage between man and a woman) and Prop 4 (parental consent). Hispanics who are social conservatives will make the difference. Yahoo!!

Yep....I think we will wake up to a moral victory on November 5th.
I support you on this proposition. But not being a legal scholar, explain to me why this proposition, if approved, will not be overturned by your Supreme Court, as proposition 22 was?
We now also have this problem in Connecticut, where we have no referendum process. Some feel voting on our ballot question of a constitutional convention could eventually lead to our having such a referendum process, but I’m skeptical. Our political environment here is so thoroughly liberal I shudder to think what might happen at a constitutional convention.
This election cycle is different, however. ACORN, the shear number of fraudenlent votes for Hussein and the fact that it involves many states not just California. Get your popcorn ready.
I sure hope your right on this one!
Otherwise, well...we’re getting punked by punks!
Sorry about Reagan and his starting no fault divorce.
This a California Constitutional Amendment...NOT, just the will of the people.
It will become part of the California Constitution, over which the 9th Curcuit has no authority.
...That’s my understanding anyway!
