How to Steal Ohio

Imagine: It is the very early morning of November 5, 2008. Despite all the predictions and polls, John McCain and Barack Obama are locked in an extremely close race for President of the United States. McCain made a furious comeback over the previous 3 weeks following the last debate where Obama fumbled several answers while looking tired.

McCain's momentum propelled him back into the race and in a furious last minute charge that involved spending more than $25 million in combined campaign and Republican National Committee ad money that last weekend surged to within just a few points of Obama by Election Day.

Now, at 6:00 AM the following day, the race hangs on the results in just one state; Ohio. McCain leads by nearly 50,000 votes but suddenly, Ohio's Democratic Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner announces that several thousand McCain absentee ballots have been disqualified while additional thousands of votes in Cuyahoga County were "discovered" to have not been counted. After several more hours of confusion -- which included the discovery of more uncounted votes in heavily Democratic counties by the Secretary of State -- McCain's lead is gone and Obama is declared the winner of Ohio and the election.

Of course, this scenario is not credible, is it? No Secretary of State would act so brazenly, right?

Meet Jennifer Brunner, Ohio's real life Secretary of State, whose actions in the lead up to this election have been so shamefully partisan -- violating both federal and state law in the process -- that it is doubtful any result on Election Day from Ohio is going to be accepted as credible.

This happened in King County, effectively. It gave Christine Gregoire the governorship of Washington State.

If McCain wins, the first thing he needs to do is order the Justice Dept. to file election law charges against Jennifer Brunner, and frogmarch her right down Pennsylvania Ave.

Action: 10,000 illegal votes.

Result: couldn’t be removed, it would violate voter privacy.

An estimated 12,000 voters in Cuyahoga County cast votes without first fulfilling requirements that they sign the pollbook and show identification. Thousands voted illegally, Cleveland Plain Dealer, December 5, 2006. This problem reportedly occurred in 533 of Cuyahoga’s 570 voting precincts. Officials believe a combination of long lines and insufficient training led to the security breach. Because ballots are cast anonymously, officials say there is no way to identify the ballots that were cast illegally.

What’s preventing the Bush Justice Department from doing it now?

I find your thought pattern amusing.

It’s always the “next GOP president” or give us more GOP Senator Seats and it will all be better.

Bush’s Justice Department could step in now, if it wanted too.

And yes, We GOP voters gave the Senate more GOP Senators before the 2006 Elections ( Remember John Thune Defeating Tom “ I’m Concerned” Daschle?

And what changed? NOTHING

Do I think Osama will be worse than McCain? Yes I do.

But, for once, hold those who have the power to correct the voter fraud NOW,
not in the next administration, responisble for what is about to happen.

Ohio voters will request that Jennifer Brunner resign if this ever happens. That, and making drugs and guns illegal, will fix everything.

At the end of the scheduled voting hours, Democrat poll watchers and/or paid election clerks will cast votes on behalf of names of registered citizens that failed to show up to vote. This was reported today by a caller to Rush’s show, a 2004 pro-Bush poll watcher.
One supposes that votes could at that time also be cast on behalf of fraudulently registered non-existing persons that reside at non-existing street addresses.
Democrats have been honing such schemes for a long time.

Why doesn’t Strickland come out and say something! Where is our governor. Kenneth Blackwell (the repub who lost to Strickland has come out against this).
