NEW YORK In a lenghty account of a Sarah Palin rally in Scranton, Pa. today, the local paper, the Times-Tribune, relates that at 1:25 p.m. just before she arrived, a candidate for Congress stepped on stage: "Chris Hackett addressed the increasingly feisty crowd as they await the arrival of Gov. Palin.
"Each time the Republican candidate for the seat in the 10th Congressional District mentioned Barack Obama the crowd booed loudly.
"One man screamed "kill him!'"

Use one of there own, when they cannot be identified accordingly, to do or say something that would be considered despicable by the general public and then play that fraudulent manufactured incident against their opponent to their advantage.
“Others have directly suggested Mr. Obama is a Muslim, which he is not, or a traitor.”
A news story and editorial combined, I see.
Who are these idiots yelling, “Kill him”? Is this a smear campaign?
Do you have a link for the info about the “A-rab” being a plant?
I heard Tammy Bruce on some show being interviewed about just this sort of thing. Tammy is former Pres of LA chapter of NOW. She said they would routinely do this - “plant” an operative at rallies to disrupt.
The same old liberal playbook is getting tiresome. Isn’t it interesting that the unbiased media is now suddenly outraged. Useful idiots, all of them.
Leftist planted in the crowd.
Oh, and these goofballs in the media expect us to believe that the unknown screamer in Scranton used the exact phrase the other screamers used.
“Kill Him?” It doesn’t even make sense. And who would yell that out that exact phrase knowing the beating we’ve been taking on the issue this week?
There should be a bounty on anyone wishing violence against Senator Obama out loud at a rally. Report them to the Secret Service (and they’re there at every event) so we can find out who these boneheads are and who put them up to doing something so stupid...
There’s lots of other nasty, but true, things you can say without playing into the media’s hands.
Oh, and now we’re going to hold Sarah responsible for what happens before she even gets to the venue?
I wonder what we would hear from the crowd if we went to an Obama rally. I wish someone would, with their video camera, then report back, to FOX news.
Joe the plumber was on FOX, twice today. He has made a major hit. And its funny because he didn’t intend it, he was just in the right place at the right time. I love it:)
Some Skid Row junkie they gave a fag and a dollar bill to and told him to go over there and yell “Kill him!”
I wouldn't trust the Scranton Times, they're hard core dem and especially hate Palin.
I was interviewed at the rally. I wonder if they'll twist my words. Maybe I shouldn't have given my name.
They are libs. I heard this crap and the wonderful crowd knew it, and drowned them out.
This was a very inspiring rally. The people were as beautiful as Lee Greenwood and the Palin family.
Don’t back down folks, they are afraid of the response Sarah is getting.
Turns out it's something WAY more nefarious.
Joe the Plumber is my new hero.
Please tell me he’s voting for McCain!
Let them do it... It would draw more than you’d honestly care to guess. If the man had any character at all, you’d get a good portion of the redneck/alpha male white vote. But he does not have any character... Now all the white vote he will get is the PC crowd and the wannabees...
The normal Joe on the street mumbles the offensive when ever they hear the guy’s name or sees his picture...
Years ago, Prejudice of skin color was a learned trait. Today it is not so much Prejudice of the color of the skin, but a prejudice of what one stands for. It cannot be taught, only experienced, and a whole lotta folks have and are experiencing it...
He’s not going to do as well in the vote as they say he is...
The next thing you would see is a lawsuit from the ACLU!
McCain: LET SARAH BE SARAH!!!!
wait. even if this is a McCain supporter, there are always lunatics everywhere. You can’t tell me there aren’t nasty pieces of yuck at Obama rallies. I saw the people wearing the Sarah Palin is a “explitive” t-shirt. why isn’t that making the news?
I’m sure they are. Tammy Bruce said that was a tactic when she was on the left.
